I completely agree.
That is what I told people to do and that is what you have done, and it has exactly result as you said.
Office say they have done it and it didn’t work. But then again it never followed the steps in the first place.
So I’m happy for the people that did follow the steps and have it working

Maybe some people are more visual learners? A 30s video recording of you doing the update with your own instructions and pinning it to the first page would help minimize the amount of questions you get every day.
Reread what I said. The sequence I posted WAS the old way 911 had us update. It was a copy/paste of 3 files and you were done. Very easy.

It’s funny how something that’s "easy" took someone 20 hours to do. It’s also funny how I had over 100 people saying they couldn’t do it, even though it was supposed to be easy, right?
But people still couldn’t follow the process. They’d literally delete all the guides and then complain when they weren’t there anymore, blaming me for deleting them.
In the old way, I had to check every single file and every single change. That was not easy for me.
Now, I just submit the file, and for me, that’s easy.
If people want the old way, they should be willing to pay for my time, because it takes much longer. And with the old way, there were always more complaints—complaints about things not working because people chose the wrong file location, used the wrong software, deleted files, or complained that guides weren't there anymore. And then they’d complain that the guides weren’t loading.
But they never look at their own actions as the problem.
If people can’t follow a 2-step process, how will they handle a 100-step process in an addon? If they can't follow a video guide to install an addon, how is repeating the same thing over and over again going to help?

It took me from 2013 until now to finally say, "This is the problem," because everyone else just takes the file and says nothing.
It took 2 years to identify just 1 issue in the guide, something that stands out to anyone who uses it. But for 2 years, no one said a thing. They complained but never pointed out the cause, even when they knew what it was. But when just one person finally did, I fixed it in one minute. Still, no one else spoke up.
Let’s face it, people don’t care how they get what they want or who they get it from, as long as they get it.
As for Zygor, it's the same issue that people have pointed out. Some want to follow that fix, which is fine. But they don’t want to follow the exact same fix for RXP.
If they’re causing the issue, how is it my fault?
