Hello, first time posting here (im from spain sorry for my bad englando) I tried to make it work but im so lost, you talk about installing the fake addon then the real one but i dont get it, can someone please link me the guide for dumb people? Thanks for the great great work you guys are doing here.

When people say fake they are speaking about themselves. Would not follow 2 instructions.
The same instructions they use for any addon.

So in your logic, all addons are fake.

the "fake addon" as you say is the .rar file u download

- download the rar file
- delete Restedxp with curseforge
- delete the sharedvariables for the addon
- reinstall the restedxp addon with curseforge
- extract the .rar file directly to addon folder
