Even epvp does, I mean what do you think the :rtfm: smiley stands for? Read the fucking manga, obviously. :PQuote:
Guess I'll start reading manga, since you're all forcing me. :p But seriously, I think I should, to enjoy the story more and more.
But the anime versions usually make a scene much longer than the manga.Quote:

Jokes aside, I think even reading alongside watching the anime can be a worthwhile experience. You'll get much more of an insight in certain situations, I just recently noticed it when reading Tokyo Ghoul. Although I guess that's a rather bad example as the anime was showing pretty much everything I have read in the manga. Anyway, give it a try. I ordered new manga yesterday, can't wait to read them. :D
You can't really say that in general. I've heard that it was the case with Dragonball back when they made the anime, but aside from that, I have never experienced an anime scene which felt too long in comparison with the manga. Also, comparing both is kind of hard, as the speed in which you're reading obviously varies and some people may have a closer look at each image whilst others are reading it fast with the focus on the dialogue.Quote:

That's how I watch anime, to be honest. I focus at the dialogue but I read it quick first then watch the scene.Quote:

I have mentioned it before, but one manga I would definitely recommend is Tokyo Ghoul. I'm really looking forward to the release of the third one, in hindsight I think I should've gotten the english ones, the German translations seem to take ages.Quote:
Quick, I need a decent list of manga! I need stuff to read while I have no access to the land of the interwebz! Probably stuff which I haven't seen already via anime, however if the story/ending is different to the anime, I'm willing to watch it :p
My main ones I have are Akame ga Kill (or Kiru) and Ga-Rei (Ga-Rei Zero is a great anime by the way, that's why I'm reading the sequel, which is sadly manga only)
Here's a list of what I've seen if needed.

EDIT: Looks like the MAL Database got compromised, so it's a tad unreliable until they fix it. Better use MALGraph as it's using the day before data.
You mean the exact ones we're watching? At the moment it's Akame ga Kill, Black Bullet, Date a Live 2, Hyouka, Sword Art Online 2 and Tokyo Ghoul.Quote:
What are those anime you are all watching?
