They are running on 4.3.4, I believe. I can't seem to find a version of the RestedXP dependency that runs on that version of the game, so I guess I just have to wait til they update to at least 4.4 then, am I right? Well Cata classic is on 4.4.2
All I can think of it find any addon that works, check the TOC and check the interface number.
Then go through the RXP addons and downgrade until you find one that matches that interface number.

Then hope it works on that server. Seeing they are no made for private servers.

first time posting here.

i want to use rxp on anniversary servers but i got a few questions
- do i use classic or Era?
- ive downloaded the file, installed rxp with curseforge, but im unsure where to extract the files to. do i extract to the addons folder, along with questie etc, or in the restedxp folder or another specific folder?

I'm looking for The Solheim Ultimate Classic WoW Gold Guide (Season of Discovery + Vanilla WoW). If anyone has it and can share it or point me in the right direction to get it, I’d really appreciate it. Any help is welcome!

It is an addon.
So you extract it and add it to the Addons directory

hello, im trying to use the restedxp leveling guides on anniversary realms... it wont load in-game.

The only one that works is RXP Custom Guides

Am I doing something wrong? I tried to search for an answer, but for what i've read on this topic we just have to extract the folders to the addon folder... Am I doing something wrong here?

Sorry if this is another dumb question... But i've tried everything...

Here is the common issues

People do not delete the saved variables for the addon.

Also when you delete it, the addon restores the same one.

That is why I say

Load the fake, delete the addon and saved variables for the addon
/reload
Install the addon and guides
/reload

I did have that in the first post.

But seeing people did not want to read it. Then take the file and say it does not work. I removed it from the first post.

I tried, but no success. It's probably my fault tho... i've never messed up with those saved variables before.

Your instructions are clear, I think i'm just not smart enough to do it correctly.

I guess I'll have to use zygor, even if I don't like their guides it's what I have... that one is working...

Yes, let's get frustrated with people and respond passive-aggressively all day because they're unable to figure out what "install to addons" means when there's 15 subfolders and files. You're needlessly obfuscating the process for no reason. Literally just type out step by step instructions on the first page and it would save you a lot of headache and frustration.

This was all so much easier when the instructions were simply:

1. Install RestedXP with Curseforge
2. Download "Guides" on the first page
3. Extract "Guides" to location of your choice
4. Open RestedXP file inside your game's addons folder
5. Delete the "Guides" folder
6. Copy/Paste the "Guides" folder where you just deleted the previous folder
7. Done

You're efforts are appreciated, 911sky, but there's no denying you've made the process more difficult to understand and getting mad at people for not understanding isn't fair.

I've resulted in using a different link for RXP because it's just so much easier to work with compared to the files here. I just download, copy "Guides", paste/overwrite, done.

So the instructions are there, not read. Then I am blamed.
The instructions are posted again. Not read and I am to blame.
People say they did exactly what I said. Then say they posted it in the wrong folder. I am to blame.
They use the software that they know does not work. I am to blame.

Bottom line, if you cannot follow simple instructions then do not use it.

I said Addons folder
They put it in RXP folder

Now I ask you, is that the exact same thing?

Easier with the guides, paste overwrite and done? Then tell that to the people that claimed that never worked.

Oh putting a folder in Addons is impossible for you it is clear.
