You went to the link.
Instead of clicking the file and download.
You instead chose to download the whole directory for 1 file that would add it to a zip file.

Sorry if this has been asked a million times but i cant find it through searching the topic. Is it safe to update the rxp addon through curseforge or should you not do it?

You can upgrade it as much as you like. I do not even touch the addon. So it’s not even modified as people claim.

Addon: RXP (Classic)
Issue: After the WoW client update today, my RXP guide reverted to the base 1-20 only guides.
Error (LUA): No LUA errors relevant to RXP. I disabled addons that had LUA errors, reloaded, and still not working properly.

Trouble Shooting:
- Deleted RXP Guides and Leveling Addon (Deleted Folders from Addon folder as well);
- Reinstalled Guide >> Downloaded fresh Classic Leveling Guide from link on page 1 here >> Extracted to Addons;

One thing I noticed is that the RXP Leveling >> Classic leveling guide contents has 1-70, 1-80, and 31-85 .lua files. Not sure if there was an incorrect upload to the ftp site, or if this is the standard naming convention.

Well classic is 1-85 so yes it does have 1-85 in it, with older content added as an option like 1-70 and 1-80

I just updated it and there is no issues

I keep on telling people to delete the savedvariables

They choose not to
Do not want to
Or claim it is so many settings lost that they did not even change in the first place.

Addon: <NaowhUI>
Issue: <I did a new system and didn't save WTF and Interface. So now when i installed WoW and downloaded all addons Naowhui won't show up Setup. I can see addon in Options but won't run a setup when i log in first time.>
Error (LUA): <No lua errors.>

Still not getting it to work after deleting my .../WTF/savedvariables, and my .../WTF/Account/<accountName>/savedvariables.

I feel like I'm likely missing a simple step. To start fresh I'm:
- Uninstalling RXP Guides from Curse Forge;
- Deleted the RXPGuides and RXP Leveling folders from my AddOns folder;
- Deleted the 3 savedVariable folders I found;
- From WTF, Account, and <Account Name>
- Install RXP Guides from Curse Forge;
- Download Classic Guide from the link on page 1 here;
- Extract RXP Leveling Classic.rar to wow/_classic_era_/interface/AddOns;
- I now have an "RXP Leveling" and an "RXPGuides" folder in the AddOns folder.
- Login to the Game;

I do not see why people have so many issues with this.

I do not even use the guides, I test and provide.

I updated and that's it, no change.

Hi! Its kind of weird but when I can't enter the RXP download link because it says:

Link target: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Seems like a wrong link or incomplete. What am I doing wrong?

Are my steps to install RXP guides correct? Or am I missing a step/doing them out of order?

Well I tell people this

Update install via curseforge
Download the guides and extract and move to the addons folder that's it.

In the past, this has been solved by just waiting a couple of days, but I thought I'd try and troubleshoot it this time.
