I never asked you to install 7zip. How did I make it so that Windows Extractor doesn't work? It only extracts .zip files, after all.

Windows Extractor doesn't support many formats, and yet you're blaming me for that? I find it hard to believe you'd do that.

Also, 0 stars for your comment. It seems like you're not familiar with portable software, and right now, I’m too frustrated to explain it.

It’s frustrating that you'd prefer a zip file, which could be insecure or modified, and then complain that it’s damaged.

Is there any issue with mac os ? It doesnt work for me, but I tried exactly that what you say all the time - installed the addon via curseforge and extracted the exp leveling into Addons.

The main issue people face is using the wrong software to extract files. For example, Windows' built-in extractor only supports ZIP files, which is why it doesn't work for other formats. Despite this, people still try using it.

In the comments, some users mentioned they had success with other software on Mac, so it doesn't seem to be a problem on that platform. My advice is to search for a free .rar extractor for Mac and see which one works best for you.

I think a lot of issues people are running into is they will extract the "RXP Leveling Era" file into the "Addons" expecting it to work.

I figured out if you click THAT file and look for SPECIFICALLY "RXP Leveling" file and drag it back into the "Addons" folder.

Worked for me.

Well that literally does the exact same thing.

Extracting/dragging is the same action, different command.

What people are doing is, extracting to RXP leveling folder. In the Addons.

So it is RXP leveling/RXP leveling

Extracting to the addon folder makes Addons/RXP leveling
Dragging it in make Addons RXP leveling

So makes you wonder, people install the addon the right way.
So why do the rat not install the leveling guides the exact same way.

Seeing people want to manually update.

How do I install the guide?

Great post but that does not make much sense with (12340) seeing the Wrath I have is Interface 40000, TBC is 30100. So I have no idea what 12340 is.

I always wonder why people on these private servers do not share a copy of the addon they have.

I do have a lot of old versions but will take me some time to get through and find them.
