@dupakurwa - One more question - What Visual Studio are you using? 2008 or 2010?
If you are using 2008 can you give me link for it,cause I'm using 2010 and I can't edit the IP from Auth Server/Auth Processor.cs
Thanks!

alex, im using my NFR (Not For Resale original microsoft vs 2008 as microsoft partner or something - friend gave me it :D)... i have 2010 on win7 64 bit, but as ive started fixin x86 server ... untill its finished ill stick to it... as author of the topic says - use 2008, believe me it makes a difference so use it... half of my programs (and ima programmer for before even pc existed :P - im 35yrs old by now and started programming on commodore 64 assembler when i was 11 :P) ... wont work even if 2010 will convert them, so use 2008 !
03/11/2011 18:12 dupakurwa#140
also be sure to keep paths ... (for everything like im having here extract source to drive C:\)
so itll create C:\infinitco source\ folder ... if it matters let it be there

heh :/ ... did u extracted the files directly to C:\ ?
(tho i dont use c:\ ever, but links was made for that so i did the exception-they dont worka anyway ;D) ...
you should have folder

C:\infinitco source\

... no other ideas, but too tired atm too find out why... well, gimme a day to (hopefully) make it working here, so i can start fixin other's problems... if not even one copy works its no point to make many copies that wont work.
...atm checking newer server versions for .ini files that may define character (so skipping original character creation will be available with editing files - to fix client creator is way harder than that)

Here's the list of changes that ive made to compile server/auth server w/o errors
(xp sp3 clean install, vs2008 ultimate clean install - no blowfish.dll, luckily theres one included with server source :)

- .net framework 4 + SP1 (SP1 fixes missing v4 tools error, uses v3.5 tools instead)
- in server_v2 source properties (Project > ConquerServer_v2 Properties > Reference path) add path... Server\ConquerServer_v2\bin\debug (fixes blowfish bug)
- copy Server\Database to both: Server\ConquerServer_v2\Database\ ...AND... Server\ConquerServer_v2_Auth\Database\ (fixes missing files when compiling server, probably u dont need to copy whole database folder to both locations, but i didnt care to find out which folders from Database folder and where so copy them all)
- copy Server\ConquerServer_v2\bin\Debug\gamekeyexchange. dll to windows\system32 folder (adding system path should work fine too)

After that both server_Auth and server_v2 compiled and run w/o errors/warnings

- download loader... (tested v2 and v5, cant see difference atm)
- extract it to client folder (edit IP and Login port)

[Loader]
IPAddress= YOUR IP HERE
LoginPort=9958
GamePort=5816
Website=http://www.elitepvpers.com

- ive used already patched client from All clients pinned forum topic

Game stops at loading screen :/
well, ill try getting this forum client and patch-up method - maybe thatll change something, unless som1 will post the answer :P

if u read thru my earlier posts, that guide applies to original topic, after that ive chagned to 5366+ update - ports are different (read thru posts pls, ill post final step-by-step from clean winxp sp3 x86, and vs2k8 install as i make it ready to ... well, some point)...
9960 and 5817 is for updated version (5366+) login works up to character creation with newest original 5337 client - (cant create char yet) working on this atm.
original topic version is 5135, and there was some problems in logging in (my previous step-by-step version works too as i compile 5366+)
for original TOPIC version ports are listed at page1

I like peoples think it should be in the C:\ drive.
It doesn't matter where it is on your pc, because it's not reading in directories like that.
Only if you have made it do that.

I have it on desktop and it's working fine.

Also you need VB, C# and C++.
VB is not needed, but the npcscripting is in VB.
