And i dont think its a stupid question either... If someone knew how to hack into the server though ip and take the files then it would save the Dev team alot of time trying to make the files from scratch wouldnt it...
And FYI i think the servers lagg is playable, the increased xp makes up for it. You hit r3 in a matter of a few hours

Enough. Don't anyone dare turn this thread into garbage. I don't give a shit about the rates of the other server or anything about the other server unless it has to do with development. This thread is meant to report findings in a forward direction, not as an area to flame or acts of aggression. This thread is for DEVELOPMENT, not hacking. Hacking has been discussed already and I have already mentioned ways to go about hacking the server previously, and that this thread should not be home for those discussions. If you hack the server, get the files great, but this thread is not for conference of that topic, it's for research and findings for what we currently have to work with.

I still have to figure out some incorrect column types and then there is a large large part of the DB structure missing xD

gonna try hook it, then somehow point it on my sqlserver since it want an DB to update.
(( no i didn't solve the .opt problem, just jumped over the checks in ollydbg))

server is far from ready, all you can do while waiting is to grab all the files needed and help out, and even if you dont know anything, read about tutorials about ollydbg and start steppin, that was atleast what i did =D

Yes it is correct we've hit a stand still, and I have investigated the option of hooking already to bypass the opt so that the exe knows what database information to look for. However I can say I was unsuccessful, but not because of the program, because I am not very good with ASM. I think the hooking option is a reliable route if we are able to provide the program with what it needs... which is the hard part (I did so by telling it a connection string.) We may be able to get somewhere... like i said i'm not good with ASM and I have a couple beers in me!
