After I download the file I saved it in my ini folder like it said and when I unzip it, it pops up as a file in notepad with a bunch of scripting. I know I have to install it but I dont see any way to do so, please help.

I installed it like it said but when I play the game some gems dont exist in socketed weapons such as refined rain gems. I've tried downloading all 5 versions and none of them work correctly...please help.

If you unziped it and place the file ItemType.dat in your Conquer2.0\ini folder, your done. Thats all there is to it. When you get the window asking if you want to replace the file click on yes. This over writes the ItemType.dat file already there. Thats all you have to do. But remember to make a copy of your original ItemType.dat file or just rename it and if you forget to do that I have original file posted too. If you want to switch back.

As for your notepad opening, you probably have .dat files associated to your notepad. And when it does open it will look funny. Like it doesn't make sence. The ItemType.dat file is encrypted, it's supossed to make it harder to edit.

Is your client patched to 4335? This ItemType.dat is for Patch 4335+. Thats about the only thing I can think of.
