You don’t need a second monitor unless you plan on using radar only, so the specs of the second monitor aren’t important.

For your fuser, I’d recommend either a D60 or a DC500. That said, your second PC likely won’t work well with the DC500 since it requires a GPU. Otherwise, the ESP will lag considerably.

Thanks for the reply. The model is PRIME X670-P WIFI.

I've ordered a D240, macku and 75t card from Ali express from a reputable seller. He mentioned the d240 would be good enough I would just need to downgrade the resolution and hz 100 or use a standard monitor which I have.

Also regarding the firmware is Ekknod WIFI 2.0 Firmware good for COD Bo7, Destiny 2 and battlefield 6? Those are the games I'll be playing so will get cheats for those, just not sure who's reliable and if I can get free firmware for it then that would be good

I was told by someone to "Not spend a a lot on DMA right now
Since the situation with IOMMU is unknown"

"BE and EAC didn't implement that yet but there is a chance EAC will do that soon"

How accurate is this?

Do you no longer recommend Stella? I see you're not recommending it on the front page?

When was the last time you played at 100 Hz? Just curious. The difference between 100 and 144 is huge, and you will definitely feel a negative impact on your gameplay. Everything feels noticeably slower.

As for Ekknod, yes, that will be enough.

That’s not accurate at all. For one, nobody knows when, or even if, other anti-cheats will start implementing DMA checks. Right now, DMA users are the minority among cheaters, so there isn’t much incentive to prioritize it yet.

That said, there are already firmware providers capable of bypassing IOMMU, and as more firmware developers figure this out, anti-cheat teams will end up back at square one trying to deal with DMA again.

I do, but with some caution.

A few of us, myself included, initially received firmware that we couldn’t flash. Replacements have since been issued, but I haven’t had time to flash and test mine yet, and I haven’t checked in with the other two, so I don’t know their current status.

One of my main criteria when recommending anything is ease of setup. Most users aren’t very technical, so simpler setups are generally better. While more complex setups are sometimes unavoidable, I still try to recommend options that are accessible to the majority. So far, that hasn’t been the case with Stella, which is why I’ve temporarily walked back my earlier recommendation.

Once I’ve had time to test the replacement firmware and evaluate any additional setup steps, I’ll reassess and update my recommendation accordingly.

.

To be honest, I was playing at 240hz at one point when I had my Odyssey but downgraded as I wasn't using it for what I bought it for - coding & personal projects. Went to 175hz at 32" and wasn't really bothered. Now looks like I'll be playing at 100hz and I think I know what to expect although as to how bad it will feel is another question that I'm not sure about. Hoping I can get by once I have my real set up sorted (just bought a new house). The other option is using my other standard 27" monitor and playing at 2560*1440 at 180hz, then switch back to my main monitor for single player games, what do you think?

Also regarding Ekknod, has that firmware ever been detected? I've heard the word blocked get thrown around when it comes to DMA but not sure if it will be a problem for those games I want to play.

Thanks!

so 35T is pretty much useless now?

@[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] I have a Captain 3rd Gen 35T card, and I’ve been using it for the past 3 years. Do you think I should upgrade to the 75T or the 100T? Which one is better?

By the way, if Stella isn’t recommended right now, where can I get a trusted EAC firmware? I mainly play FN and Apex, and sometimes PUBG and ARC. I tried to buy firmware from Stella, but once I saw that you removed them from your list, it made me stop and feel confused. Now I don’t know where to go to get firmware.

Skate = private, so I can’t get it.
Rie = isn’t good for FN and Apex.
Ekknod = blocked by EAC, and I don’t trust free stuff.

What other options do I have?:(

A lot of firmware developers, aside from low-quality resellers, are phasing out support for 35T, so it’s best to start at 75T.

I’d definitely upgrade to a 75T if you can. There’s no point spending extra on a 100T since it performs no differently than a 75T. The only card that’s truly 100T+ is Zdma’s Thunderbolt.

As for firmware, aside from Scarey (Skate developer) and William (Stella developer), I don’t know anyone offering genuinely reliable EAC firmware right now that won’t get blocked within a month or two.

I’ll be testing Stella’s EAC sometime next week to see how reliable it is, assuming the new firmware I received works this time around.

is the asus B850 mb ok with DMA? Where can I find a list of compatible mobos? Thanks

Unfortunately, there’s no comprehensive list of which boards are compatible with DMA and which aren’t. From what I could find, the B850 doesn’t seem to have any issues.

Greatly appreciate the thread!

Some DMA setup guides mention the DMA card going in the second pc (cheat) -vs- the gaming pc, and other mention the opposite, DMA card going in the gaming pc -vs- the second pc (cheat pc). Which is correct?

I don't quite get the reasoning for something like Makcu. I understand it emulates mouse/kb input, which I can see if I wanted automated game play, but if I'm actually playing the game (moving / shooting) what is the purpose?
12/18/2025 18:01 DemonTimee#150
I'll be waiting for that updated Stella feedback from 0x41^4.

I'm lost as well on where to get firmware from right now.
