I've been playing this server for a few months now and I have to say they're amateur.
Seems like only one person cares about the server and others doesn't know what to do they're there just for some benefits.
PROS:
- Server has decent playerbase.
- Customized quests for new players and it's easy to start champion leveling.
- Some of the raids customized for quick runs.
- There are raids/raid marathons.
- Arena is never empty.
CONS:
- I said they're amateur, because you can use paint for photoshopping images and they would believe it that's true. You can get someone banned, you can get free items, etc... Even if they realize it's fake they can't do anything about that from then on because item gets traded and player loses trust and quits the game.
- Economy is too much inflated, prices keeps changing every day/hour. In just 1 day I saw 5 item's price getting multiplied 10 times of the actual price.
- There are dupes and admin favoritism and it's not small amount. Even if it's your first day you can feel it that there is something wrong with the item prices. I witnessed 2 times server being shut down because of the dupes and I'm not talking about admin favoritism.
- They have to restart server everyday for couple of times because of the lags. Just opening NosBazaar sometimes causes you to crash the game.
- You can't change channels, if you try to do it you can't log in for 5 minutes.
Here is the few things I noticed.
PROS:
- GM favoritism still happens but seems like founders/admins are responsible and takes care of corrupted GM's trash.
- Game doesn't lag anymore.
- You can switch channels without waiting for 5 minutes.
- Server doesn't restart couple of times in a day.
- I made a few suggestions before I stopped playing NosTale and I never thought they would take my suggestions seriously, but seems like they're actually listening to what players want and make improvements/changes to the server.
- They added a lot of new content to server: Tattoos, new raids, increasing clvl cap, runes, custom sps and weapons, etc...
- New players doesn't have to do inefficient gold farming anymore, first few weeks was the most challenging point of the game in the past but with the new improvements game is balanced. New players can start champion leveling faster and can do low lvl raids and earn decent amount of gold.
CONS:
- A lot of players quit playing the game (There are still enough players and that's not a big deal, but half the player base is missing from what it used to be.)
- Elendan left the team.
