So this error looks like you didn't extract the bot files correct.
If you download the zip file you need to extract it so that you have a folder PPOBot. Inside this folder are
1) PPOBot.jar file to run the bot
2) data folder with necessary files
Your data folder is missing that's causing the issue.

Edit: Problem solved. Issue was invalid characters in the path of the bot. There should only be spaces, digits and alphabetic characters and no special chars

first thing everyone needs to know is to set overlay (+ button ) perfectly, can be a pain :/ and if you still experience issues then in (general settings, page 3, use the adjust button)

Also i have the same issue were fishing gets canceled during my sleep, and it stops at around 300-600 encounters or so, also can you do it [search for the yellow color then green] to make it more efficient in some ways(also could make it optional)

So it is intended that the bot doesn't hit every hook since this would be quite suspicious. In order to make the bot less detectable i let him fail from time to time.

(This doesn't explain the stopping issue which you and other experience - this is a bug i will fix)

It should work on WinXP too.

This issue is most commonly caused by an issue with the text recognition library.
Possible causes:

1) You didn't extract the Bot folder correctly
There should be a folder PPOBot which contains
1) the PPOBot.jar file to run the bot
2) the data folder with it's content
Make sure you have extracted the bot correctly

2) Your path to the bot contains invalid characters like special chars like äöüý
To fix this simply move the bot to a location without those chars like to
C:\Program Files\PPOBot

If this doesn't help i need your debug.log file. You can read the info page in the bottom to learn how to get those file

I highly recommend you update to Win 7 or Win 10 btw.

I have set up a new computer to run the bot. I am running into problems though. I followed the same set up that i have on my main pc, which works fine. The problem here is that the bot stops when it encounters a pokemon. I have attached my debug log. Win 7 x64 ultimate. I have Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 installed.

If your installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable is correct you can try a few more things:

1) move the bot folder to a different location, maybe the bot doesn't have permissions to perform in the current location
2) Make sure your path to the bot does not contain invalid chars like äöüéó
3) try to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable or Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable version, maybe this works
