if its the xecption error its related to the user password with opts and the sql services.

first step you need to try is to put everyone as its normal state , sa bla bla no pass, if it works tell me.

I will admit ..I struggled to get the 9.4 files up and running....but they are now.
I would be very interested in learning how to add the hv buffer back. (A few other tweaks and pokes too.)..but...as a starting point, yes I would be very interested in a how-to on restoring the hv buffer.

to restore all npcs with the buffer etc, download the luas i have included in download section and place them into your \Resource\Script after that go to your gameserver.opt and delete the line where it says ela:40 then compress the opt file with @[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] 's compress tool.

Ok, seriously need help.

I downloaded the Clean US 9.4 client, I use the sframe.exe from within the revolution 9.4 packet file under the client side.

I replace all the .dll file with the one that was needed to download.

I reprogram the english.batch file using the autoscript to create account.

Initiated the english.batch file, nothing happen.

Then I use the launcher.batch that open up but cant login.

So im really stuck now. The server is up and running, heres what the sherlock server saying.

Hey thefear, thanks for your answer.

Following your advice, i tried basics settings, with the different servers on the same machine as my DB engine.

Everything works fine with the user I set up ans its password encoded.

I then decided to do the same process on the other machine (the one with only the servers) and i,m still stuck at this error when launching the authserver :
Server does not exists or access denied.

Which made me wonder if there is not a specific port which i need to open on the DB server to allow the other servers to dialog with it.

I'm still trying but i'm starting to go crazy :D

EDIT : Obviouslz i was a bit stupid. I was thinking that my SQL server allowed connection on the SQL server TCP port (1433), whereas it was not... As for why i didn't know, but allowing incoming connections on this port fixed my problem

what does the message say inside client ? wrong pass or doest it say cannot login to server?

it's going to be alright, we need to eliminate potential causes so bare with us xd.
yes there is a port which you should have done according to the video
the port is 1433 and you should place it inside the TCP option in SQL management tool "the red bag" just focus on the video and you should find it, unfortunately youtube is hanging up here so I can't refer to exactly which minute.

I correctly set up the port in the SQL configuration manager, it was the windows firewall which was not open... I thought the two will come as a pair but it seems not !!

Now onto the next pb :p

So i managed to have every servers running so far.

Now i'm blocked as it seems that I cannot launch the client.

I used your batch file (after copying the DLLs and Sframe.exe for english client) with the following arguments :

Plus i don't see any trace in any log. of my client tempting to communicate with any server.

I managed to launch the client (the archive was missing a tool RappelzCommandLauncher.exe) for the bat to be effective. I hope publishing my errors here will help others xD

You should post the bat files...

And what exactly happens when you try to log in?

it say, can not connect to login in server.

So your .bat file or your port in it is not directing to the proper auth port.

But if you dont post things we can not help.

So again can you post the auth.opt at least and the bat file.

i will post it when i get home from work

After severals issues, I finally have a server up and running !!!

As usual in IT, the problem lies betweeen the chair and the keyboard....
If you follow the instruction specificly, everything should work.

new problem after few hours of gaming... I user your LUAs files as you said, but it seems some NPC are missing (as the HV buffer fo example).

Yet he appears on my minimap...

If any Idea cross your mind :D

Check what the local_flag is for that NPC in the database and set it to 1 if it is not already.

I think that should work without needing to update the client file.

I can write you an SQL script when I get home so I can get more details on the script I am writing.
