In no way was I talking about botting whatsoever. I was talking about running around hunting uniques, ksing people and perhaps insult a couple of people here and there when grinding. Basically revamp the entire "system" if you will.

It came across as a bot-supporting post, my bad. What would you add to make it more competitive? For me the grinding is fine as it is: pink fights happen eventually, drama ensues for spot stealing, opposing warriors talk shit while pulling each other's mobs, etc. What you just described already happens in the game.

People would basically skip partying on regular mobs then. I'd prefer constant unique spawning on areas where PVP is enabled, like the jobcave.

Yeah, if it were to be PVP based it'd be a whole lot more fun for everyone involved, problem is a whole lot of players are massive pussies that would never get behind/support it.

They could make something work with decreased regular unique spawning timers to ensure people stay on their toes to go hunt them. With no 3rd party bots working, most of the players that are botting are basically babysitting their characters (because of no loop on the in-game bot) which means more people will participate in the whole thing.

I actually look forward to how the light botting will work out in the end. Legits already shat on sbot parties at grinding, now players who actually play the game will be on the lead now that they will compete against a much more basic bot.
