It's the same problem on any 32 bit OS version.
32 bit XP, Vista, or Win 7. (Yes, 32 bit Win 7 does exist)
I don't think the problem would exist on a 64 bit version of XP.
XP OS is more likely to be the 32 bit version
Vista & Win 7 OS is more likely to be 64 bit hardware.
I'm using a 32 bit of XP (don't ask, it's one of those '06 64-bit PCs that shipped with 32 bit XP), so I have the same error.
But it works fine on my 64-bit laptop.
Btw, 16-bit programs don't work on 64-bit systems without an emulator. That's something else.
Running 64-bit programs on a 32 bit system... well.
