from what i can tell next update will have multi-account, some sort of FP usage(going off of what was said a page back), and the new version checker now(unless he means the version after the next one being released). should be released sometime next week.

btw (dunno if you had already thought about this or not) for the new version checker/updater stuff when you add it, add a thing in that'll check every day/every other day/once a week or make it editable so people can add in their own numbers for how many days till they want it to check for new versions, that way you don't have to close the client down and open it back up to get it to check for new versions.

so far best bot for FOE. is there a workaround to get it working on win xp? as it doesnt support net fram. 4.5

The version checking will check for a new version when you start the application (can be changed in the options) and you will have a button help -> update to manually check for a new version. When a new version is available a popup will show with the url to this thread.

I've come across a curious behavior of the bot. You see, i would like to polish/motivate my guild mates and friends manually as they often change their needs and i want to follow their instructions. Instead, i support neighbors mostly based on building age in order to get the blueprints i need. Anyway i set the bot to support neighbors only and left friends and guild members unchecked.

The problem is that if there is a friend or guild member in the neighborhood it falls on the neighbors category and gets supported anyway. Since friends and guild mates can be found within neighbors but not the other way around, could it be possible to give neighborhood/guild members/friends a priority system?

I know i could just add guild members and friends to the ignore or custom list, but if they change i have to keep the bot in sync. Also, someone could have a large number of friends/guild mates and adding every one of them would take long, while it's a redundant work to do as the bot already knows if someone is a friend/guild member and not just a neighbor.

I see your problem. I will add more options in the support tab so you can specify if you want to ignore friends and guild members as neighbours if the support neighbours is checked.

I was looking for a reliable free http proxy and the best thing I found was that you can run a proxy server on [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] for one year for free. The only problem is you need to know a bit about how proxies, ssh and aws work to set it up and you need a credit card to open an Amazon aws account.
If you are interested in this solution these two tutorials helped me set up my proxy about a week ago.

You will still get blueprints from modern age the only problem is you can't specify a custom rule for modern age. The modern age will be added in the next version that is getting released next week. (Also there are no resources listed for the modern age.)
