if you are using this server [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
with this client [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
to make a local server to play on just yourself you need to open the worlds.dat in notepad or a hex editor (dont change anything) and copy the chinese letters there and paste them into ur accserver gonfig gameserver config getconfig etc where it says "servername" then simply startmysql/bin/winmysqlmyadmin enter root as the username and test as the password... then start the acc game and npc servers and youre done... register an account with a sql or connected register page and login none of the ips need to be changed

Hello, you seem to know how to do this stuff, so i'll ask you. I have everything in terms of the files and Wamp/Navicat set up, but when i true to launch ACCServer it wasnt there. I t simply hasnt extracted. I have tried to extract it with winrar, winzip and 7 zip, they all have the same issue. It is just that one file. Do you know where i can get another copy, or could you upload your copy of that file? thanks in advance, any help is appreciated.
[EDIT]
Well, i realised my antivirus was the problem, now i have another. When i launch ACCServer.exe i get 'ShellServer Has stopped working'. Ive checked all the ini files to make sure the information was correct, and it is (providing that the IP is my normal ip, not my local ip).
[EDIT]
Well, once again i have overcome the issue, only to arrive at another one. Server works correctly, but the client does not. I have edited the worlds.dat file correctly i think. I do not know how to edit the w1 and s1 files however. Flash Decompiler confuses me xD

u need to use it with a 32bit operating system or look in these forums for a 64 bit lib and make sure u have net framework

flash decompiler is simple just dont think of it as a text editor its like blocks u see a block with a "A" in it and you want it to be a block with a "B" in it just make a image click edit and images replace the "A" block with "B" picture turning it into "B" block and save you have to do each letter individually ..... the different colors are the different colors your servername will flash when it is clicked on also keep in mind you "Do Not" need to edit it to make your server online ... just to show your servername instead of another one... the information that needs to be correct is in the worlds/dat .. which is also simple to edit just open it with notepad ++ or a hex editor and add your server info ... easiest fastest way is to just copy the servername to the server configs and put it online as the ip is already set to localhost....

Thanks for the help, it helped a lot. So I've managed to get the game launching fine, to encounter another issue. The server list part doesn't work. One box is colored in, but i cannot select it. I think it comes up with 'unavailable' for a split second then goes blank. I tried clicking it and it doesn't do anything. The only idea I have is that there is more ports i need to forward seeing as i am running this with my true IP address rather than my local one or 127.0.0.1 . I have port forwarded the following ports: 9958,9865,3306,5601,5816,5818,9951,8653. Again, thanks.

[EDIT]
Aha, more progression. The server shows up, and i get to the login screen, however... This time i get the same issue as weng2x. When i type in username and pass i get 'server maintenance or internet congestion. this seems wierd. I'm going to try run it on this pc, but join through another for now. I'm assuming it will not make a difference. Any help you can give is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

[EDIT]
Just tested it on another computer (after a few issues with my router crashing on me xD), and there was no change. I still get 'server maintenance or internet congestion'.

did you match your worlds.dat with your servers IP?
04/24/2013 17:30 Hoshiwara#146
Yeah i'm pretty sure that's all correct. Here is my worlds.dat file:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
04/24/2013 19:04 wolfvane101#147
it looks ok from what i see now make sure all your ports are open and double check your ip and see what ports are close cause some isp providers like mine closes out certain ports
04/24/2013 23:10 Hoshiwara#148
I've checked the IP, all seems fine. Still getting the error. I am pretty sure i have port forwarded correctly, seeing as i can host other games fine. Is there any other ports i have to forward? maybe a login server port? I'm also not sure how i have to enther the IP into the worlds.dat file, whether i have to have full stop (2E) or just null (00) etc. between each part of the IP. Thanks for the help by the way,

ok you didnt need to send me a private message to come look at your question... (ask anyone Im not the friendly pen-pal type)
but as long as Im here ... the only two ports you should need to forward are the loginlisten and gameserver ports all others are internally used by your gameserver and database ..... the port 3306 only needs to be open in your router if you want to allow remote access of your database (not safe)

most likely it is one of two things.... your servernames do not match up or you have a software firewall blocking ur server
