a friend of mine, who speaks chinese, said that the pop up says sth like "connection lost" so we may need a new client?!

it was closed beta.
we need to wait for open beta.
client will be updated then
guide was only made to have cliet already rather than waitinf days for it and missing open beta time.

Tux posted the information on how to get the Chinese beta for Aion installed, accounts created and standing by for when the Aion Chinese OB begins (January 1st, 2009 I believe? Someone correct me if I'm mistaken). The installer should be available for download.

All Tux was doing was giving us a head start to begin preparations for when Aion China opens to everyone for Beta testing.

You can't register an account for OB yet.
