The .res files are simply re-named extensions. To get them to import in game-maker you need to rename the files and change the extension. For sprites change extension to .gmspr

Well I use Game maker to edit DO Remix And what I have been doing to some res files is just replacing them with A Regular Image or what ever elts you are trying to add But you have to go in to The game maker Scripts to find the Directory of the res file and simply change it to the new one If this does not make much sense I am sorry. :)
