Guide/Release: Conquer Server (CoFuture) Using MySql!

I have made sure that the Php is matching the sever.dat I have tryed the 192.168.1.100 and also took the router out of the picture completely and just used my regural ip. does the patch on the Qconquer matter at all cause I only installed the client no pathces

Hey leavemealone, let me start off by thanking you. Also you have alot of patience to deal with some of the moronic questions that ive seen on this topic. I read through this about 5 times to make sure nothing on this was covered, im getting the error at the line 317 when you hit enter to login, which is basically saying some type of value is set to null if im not mistaken, any idea what it could be? Im using the exact client version you said, checked my passes, checked the auth and account typed ive tried every possible combination 0,0 1,1 2,2 1,2 2,1 etc.... tried using the QO client patched with there patch to 4338 same exact error below is a screen shot, if you have any ideas thatd be cool. That usually means incorrect password or wrong patch version, make sure your password is empty in the mysql database as it assigns an encryption of the password you use on first login.

yeah when i first login, it gives that error than i checked the db and the encrypted password is there, I patched 100 percent to what you said. Do you think you can give a breife walkthrough on the client install so people with this issue may be able to solve it easier? I beleive i did it correctly

well back to sqaure one I guess I have my My SQL(php) i my sever setting for ip is 192.168.1.100 my port forwarding are set on 9958-9960 the port on my sever is 9958 the name on my sever is konker. MY Qonquer client sever.dat is set for Ip 192.168.1.100 with a game port of 9958 and my sever name is set to konker. my computer ip under Cmd ipconfig is 192.168.1.100, I still can't connect to my sever it doesn't even show that it is getting a request from my client. Is there somthing I am missing?

this is kinda confusing, i still don't get step 2, is it our own data base we use?

Make sure your setting the correct ports in the source also. auth 9960 gameport 9958

hmm, well tell the truth this my first time doing this.

You download the database and add it to your sql server u can use appserv if u dont have a sql server atm.

aha got it lol, just one more thing, at step 5, where u have to change database username, is that the like login name to local host?

The database user name is "root" by default.

hmm i still stuck on how to conect the whole thing up

also, wen i try and build, errors come up, saying about Map conflicts with COServer.MAP, any else get this?
