Im also working on the following atm:
waypoint recording
unlimited gathering nodes
fixing that ****** spinning bug
editing skill entries
tweaking timing of delays for gathering.

Let me know if you have something written up you might want to add

the spinning bug is because of lagg (for me at least)
if you can, add something to avoid mob attacks, like skip gathering point till they get lost, because now, if you use a low lvl char to gather high lvl nodes, and they attack you (spinning), the bot attack the mobs, and die. It should just move forward and loose agro as fast as possible. And continue the gathering when the HP is lowe than 100% ....

good idea - its just difficult to implement -.-

I can make a hotkey which makes the bot think that it has already gathered 3 nodes and move on - do you want me to put that in?

But please do this as a selectable function.
I think itīs not a good feature...so i can deactivate it...

But you can make a better rest function please.
If you get poisen, the rest function donīt work correct.

pls make it possible to write a macro ingame with /Select Node /Skill Vitality Extration instead of tipping via bot in chat - it would solve much problems.

2.0+ does this but a bit buggy

i hope he will let us use our own macro with
/select node1

yeah - 2.0 lets you choose a macro key - just make the key is different to what you put in as the Attack/Chat key.

I will make it simpler to add & more obvious in the next version.

belabibibo - the macro only needs:

There was a bug in 2.0 which pressed the macro before the node had respawned - so that the bot thought it didnt exist.

If you have
Code:
/select Aria
/attack
/select Aria
/attack
/select Aria
/attack
/select Aria
/attack
and there is another 'aria' close to it - you will start gathering, and then select the other node - causing it to fail.

Just have the 1 X '/Select Node' to avoid this problem - the bot will type the attack key for you.

its not true, it will ONLY select the closest nod, i know, cause i use this since server start for Aether Gathering, and other stuffs. and its not the solution of the problem, to implent much more Delays (i still use the 2.0, with spamming /select node)
its working like a charm and the pressing of C is totaly useless, you can write it in the macro, try it out, if you don't belive me


it only change target, when u implent more than 1 nod in 1 macro like
/select node1
/attack
/select node2
/attack
/select node1
/attack
/select node2
/attack

it will start node 1, then fail, node 2, fail, node1, fail, node2, success

Well I dont know - but I thought it selected any nodes - not just the closest one - but if you have done testing then I stand corrected

The spamming of 'Attack/Chat' was to compensate for lag. It didnt cause any fails.

The new version will try and fix it though.
This is how it will now work

Code:
Select a node (via macro or typing)

If it is in range then 
Loop:
Send("attack/Chat")
and walk
Until: you are within range.

Then wait for 2 seconds for a gathering 'progress bar' to show.
	-If a progress bar shows then:
		Wait Until the node is finished & start another one
	-If a progress bar doesnt show then:
		=Somone else is gathering the node, or it is already finished. so skip to the next node
The reason there was so many 'Sleep(x)' in previous versions was because everyone has different lag. Hopefully the next version will fix it- but its hard for me to test because my computer doesnt show the problems.

I will post a '_beta' of V.2.1 for people to test before a public release if you want.

Yes but this Macro will solve most of your (our) problems. doesnt matter how laggy the game is, it will spam fast. this is the fastest way to gather nodes, and easiest way to fix it when you finish, it will start again as fast as possible, and you can write in chat too (wont type c every 2 seconds).
btw i think you should implent the function for Chatting (enter=pause/continue)

So you mean 2 "makros" ingame

key 1 = "the attack key"
key 2 = "/select node

in jatagatha
by nodes:

Node - 2

by the right option (where is W A D)

and in the bot - the 'key' should be your macro key

the Attack/Chat key (next to W,A,D keys) should be the attack/chat key.

It really doesnt matter - if you put '/ attack' into your macro it wont make a difference.


I have improved this in the new version so it is simpler - just trying to tweak the 'spinning' bug before I release it.

don't forget to remove delays/waitings of each waypoints it makes bot like a bot. and enter for pause :P

and spinning is because of internet lagg, memory lagg, i doubt you can do anything about it :S maybe you can implent something like if the screen freeze pause bot

I meant what you said ^^ was hard to describe for me.

Ok but it don't have to add a Nodename in the Bot (cause it would ignore die macro and write ingame in the chat the old "/select node").

Ok thanks i will try, yesterday it seemed it works with the old method don't know why the lag is still gone, but i'm happy it is ^^

why don't you make a gui for begginers, he just type what is node1, what is node 2, and it generate this:

/select Orichalcum
/attack
/select Orichalcum
/attack
/select Orichalcum
/attack

and ask you to go ingame, press U, aNew macro, copy+paste
