but I already have these files.
Let me explain, though.
I launched this VN 2008 server and after a bit of tweaking, I somehow managed to log into the map for a very brief moment.
I used a different DS_SERVER that I compiled from an old server source. I am completely clueless when it comes to networking but I did change some packet sizes inside the DS_SERVER_Vina source and that is how I succeeded log into the 2008 VN server's map but of course so soon as I logged in it threw an error code at me. I think it was Error Code 1 or -1.
Now here's the issue with the client that was posted by "LangPhieu" and now you: It has a "ninedragons.exe" file that is unpacked, which is very nice, but
the exe file itself, which you included in this .rar
is newer than 2008. When I logged into the map I saw the Korean EXP bar and that means it's really newer than 2008.
I checked the attribute "date modified" on the 2008 NDServer.exe, the DB files and the DS_SERVER.exe. They all match. I'm pretty convinced these exe files match and in fact they were all created in May. (May 22, 2008). That is the reason I need a VN ninedragons.exe which is from 2008.
My main goal is to get the VN2008 server files to work and set up a server which
has all the original
old UI elements; some refer to it as '
Acclaim UI'. UI stands for User Interface, which includes the hp/ve bar, the exp bar, the rage button, the party hp/ve bars, the "Kung Fu", aka Skills tab, etc.
