Cameras are constantly getting cheaper and smartphones are popular as never before and everybody is now able to capture pictures. For a great photo there is more than just your equipment – you need a mind for composition, aesthetics and now and again just luck. By our contest “Photo of the Month” we want to tease out your skills.

After the “Artwork of the Month” contest has been entrenching over the past few years, it is time to expand our offer and to give you photography loving guys an opportunity to face a topic related template. There was a test run previously (last month) in order to explain it the best:
Each month’s start, a thread will be created where you can find the topic and the timeframe. There will be a list containing all rules that have been set by our community as well. As for the rules; they have been chosen and set by our community in order to guarantee and make sure that the contest is targeting mainly photography. On one side rules for editing are restricted, on the other side rules for the remaining equipment are fairly free, so everybody can and is able to take part. The choice of subject will depend on both season and user’s suggestions.
As soon as the deadline is reached, a voting thread will be created, where all users can vote for their favourite work. After one week, the winner will be announced and rewarded by 500 elite*gold and a presentation on elitepvpers’ landing page.
