It's winter sale time again! Since December 18th, Steam attracts their users with particularly favorable offers and many occasions on which they can enrich theirselves. During the whole sale, numerous games will be offered at a reduced price, some of them can even be up to 90% cheaper than usual. This includes, for example, Call of Duty oftentimes. Certainly there are also some exceptions that are excluded from this discount campaign, but new releases can usually be purchased at a discount of 50%. The winter sale is expected to end on January 2nd at 7 pm.


Furthermore, there are community sales in which Steam users can vote for one of altogether 3 games every 24 hours. Game titles having the most votes can additionally be reduced again and thus can be cheaper than they already are. In addition to these great sales, you can get Steam trading cards by taking part in afore-mentioned community sale votes, provided you've already reached level 5 on your Steam profile.
