Moved to Germany from US

And I was wondering if it would be a good idea to buy the EU WoW while it's cheaper. I'll be over here for five years- what's your opinion?

Can I switch between English and German as I play?

Yes,

you can switch your game language everytime. France, spanish, russian, german, english and so on. You can load language packages at wow-europe.com.

You know that you can't move US characters to EU server? So you must lvl from 1-90. If you want to learn german, play with the german client and don't read the trade chat

5euro for classic, bc and wotlk are very very cheap! Buy it and look if you are happy on a german server. If not move to a high populated EN server like outland with a lot of english speaking player.

Yeah, I know I can't move characters I have my 90s, but I thought maybe there was a bigger following here than in the US. I always thought it would be cool to know the people in my guild personally, rather than just through the game client.

try to buy an EU unmerged account, 15e for cata & a lvl 80 character, is also cheap, and you only have to buy mop and play 10 levels.

greets

At your place I would buy right now a battlechest from the BlizzShop for only 5 euros. It isnt a big deal, so you could play on the English pool. If you still are interested in playing, you can simply buy a cataclysm key for only 10 euro (I also sell some).
So you just pay 15 euros and it's 100 % trusted.

Buy a battlechest, no unmerged account. 1-80 is no problem, it's YOUR account, your b.net Account and so on. 5€ is nothing.
If you know all quests there is no need for a SoR/Unmerged Account.
From 1-80 you can have luck and find a amazing guild with support, if you want on german servers don't join FULL server like aegwynn/frostwolf/blackrock/eredar, search a small (no ghostrealm!) server with a familiar community.
if you want to play on ENG server dont join outland/stormscale/etc. too much players.

Dafuq ? He never said anythin about moving away. He said he moved here to germany and he's thinkin about getting WoW EU.

b2t: I'd stay at the US server 'cause u know all ur old mates (if they still play). I just would recommend to change to EU (German) if u really know this language.
