Preface
As suggested to me in another topic, this is a guide on how to make the most out of Faldo's Syndrome Hack for World of Warcraft. This will teach how to avoid doing things stupid and how to lower your chances of being caught while using Syndrome. As everyone knows, a 72hr Ban can really be a downer. This guide will also be as simple as I can make it for everyone.

I. Introduction
Hi. I'm Finklestien...or at least that's the name I chose when I signed up. I began by helping with Mr.Argus in the FFXI thread but have since expanded to more areas of the board. I love MMORPGs and have been avidly "making them work for me" for quite some time. My current games are FFXI and World of Warcraft, but I also have pretty good extensive knowledge of City of Heroes/Villains.
----------------------------------------------------------
II. Syndrom
A. What is Syndrome?
Syndrome is a World of Warcraft Multi-Hack made by and is posted here on the Elite PvPers Board.

B. Where can I get it?
Syndrome may be downloaded from the section of the forums here on Elite PvPers.

C. What can Syndrome do?
1) Increase speed to 200% (elite mounted speed)
2) Teleportation (video included in the topic)
3) Track Creatures (tracks everything that moves)
4) Track Items (chests, quest items, etc.)
5) No Falling Damage
6) Lock Speed (keeps your speed constant and allows the breaking of stuns)
7) Cheat-detection proof (codewise)
----------------------------------------------------------
III. Auto Features
A. What are they?
Auto Features are features of Syndrome that can be left on almost all the time, require very little interaction, and yet still maintain their bonus. These are like the passive abilities in WoW. To put it best, they're like Hunters' Aspects, Warrior's Stances, and Druid's Forms. They can be used all the time, but sometime it is better to turn them off or switch to another. The Auto Features of Syndrome are the Track Creatures, Track Items, No Falling Damage, and Lock Speed.

B. How to use Auto Features?
Simply turn them on to use them. Each is fairly self explanatory on what they do. The Track features should be used intelligently and mainly PvE wise. Actively seeking out and picking off people is fun, but could get people suspicious of you. An ounce of prevention prevents a 72hr ban.

C. When not to use Auto Features
You should not use Auto Features (namely Speed Lock and No Falling Damage) in Battlegrounds. They are easily detectable in these areas and especially because traveling in a group is important in these locations. Jumping off Darnassus is again a bad place to use "No Fall damage"...as you will hafta either wait for Hearthstone (if you didn't set telepoint) or explain to a GM how you got down there.
----------------------------------------------------------
IV. Speed Boost
A. How to use it?
Simply set your speed and off you go. You'll run at epic mount speed even when on foot. No need to level to 60 or spend all those g's or worse...all those hours in Battlegrounds for those 100% mounts. Useful for moving from point A to point B...that's pretty much the gist of it. Outside of moving from one point to another...there is no other really use to this.

B. How not to get caught
Using Speed Boost is easy...not getting caught is another story.
A) Class Specifics:
A1) If Rogue, Sprint (Rank 1 is at level 10)
A2) If Druid, Dash(Rank 1 level 26, cat form only)
B) If neither Rogue nor Druid, Swiftness Potion (requires level 5)
C) If level 35+ and Leather proficieny, Swift Boots (Leatherworking)
D) If level 45+, Nifty Stopwatch.
Having these things available makes traveling at top speed ALOT safer. Even if you have a mount, it's better to travel on foot. When you see someone coming, deactive hyper speed, and hit your choice of move increase (A,B,C,D where applicable). These will give you a buff so if the other player saw you running hyper fast and clicked on you, you now have an alibi(excuse) for how you were going fast. I'm unsure if track all creatures covers other players, but if it does, have it on so you know when it is safe to kill your speed for show or not. A Stealthed Rogue doesn't hafta worry too much...so long as they stay out of public areas. For a final note, passive things like Ghost Wolf, Travel Form, Aspect of Cheetah/Pack...these are all a set increase of about 20-30%. This is no where near as fast as you'll be going. The ones listed above are 50+%, which can pass for regular mount speed (60%).
----------------------------------------------------------
V Teleportation
A. How to Do It
Teleportation is simple as recording a spot, then hitting a hot key to return to that point. The video provided by Faldo shows excellently how to utilize it. Essentially, you want to create what is called a "Ping-Pong" effect, which has the monster running back and forth between two points while you blast away at it from either of those two points. The maximum range of most ranged abilities is 30 in game yards, with some having max ranges of 20. For the best Ping Pong Effect, set your telepoints approximately Max Range +10. You want to teleport when the monster reaches the 10 yrd range, thereby putting you back at the max range.

B. Class Specifics
Warrior - Warriors sadly have very little roll with teleporting...all they do is melee damage. Using ranged weapons just takes too long to kill to be worth it. Teleporting for a Warrior should bsaically be an "Oh sh*t" button for when you bite off more than you can chew.

Rogue - See Warrior. While teleporting around with a Rogue is certainly more fun...again, your best damage is done at melee.

Paladin - See above...it hasn't changed at all.

Ranged Classes Preface
1) Know what type of mob you're attacking. If the mob is gonna run, take precaution. If the mob is a spell caster, use your spell caster stopping abilities first. Ping-ponging depends on the mob going after you and running to melee you. If they don't, then it makes Ping-ponging useless
2) Wands are your friend. If you can use wands, by all means do so. If not, use a ranged weapon. Spells are good but drain mana. More mana usage = more down time.
3) If you are staring down a spell caster, use:
Shaman - Earthshock Rank 1
Hunter - Viper Sting
Mage - Counterspell
Priest - Manaburn
Warlock - Drain mana
Stopping their casting or disabling their mana makes it so much easier to keep them running.

Druid - Begin with casting Starfire, follow with Moonfire and if you have it Insect Swarm. Then switch to using Wrath or Starfire and switching between both points. Re-apply your DoTs as neccessary. Use Entangling Roots to buy yourself a little time for Starfire casting. If you're Feral specced, sorry...but this works best for those Balance specced and decently for Restoration specced.

Shaman - Start by placing two totems at the center of your ping-pong point, an earthbind and a searing. You only need to do this once. Start the battle with Frost Shock, then back up and switch to using Lightning Bolt. Shocks are horribly ineffecient, so rely on Lightning Bolt + a close shock before teleporting. The totems in the center keep the mob from moving too much and the searing adds some DPS. You should not need to use any melee abilities, but if you find your mana starts to run low, skip the searing totem in the center.

Priest - Priest fights vary greatly on what specc you are and your race. Start with your DoTs (Shadow Word: Pain, Devouring Plague, Holy Fire first because of casting time). Follow with Mana Burn (if vs a caster), Starshards (if Night Elf), Mind Flay (if specced), or your standard spells. Teleport back and forth as neccessary. Note on Mind Flay: It slows the target by 50% and deals nearly double the damage for its Mana cost which is highly effiecient.

Mage - Like Priest, Mage varies. Being with either Cold Bolt or Pyroblast (if you have Pyroblast and Prescence of Mind, use both after Cold Bolt), then either fire Cold Bolt (if you lead in with Pyroblast), PoM + Pyroblast (if you have it), or Fireball. Third step, is either Cold Bolt (if last was Fireball) or Fireball (for the extra DoT). Use Fireblast and alternate between Cold Bolts and Fireballs as you teleport back and forth. Make sure Mage Armor is on so you regenerate mana all the time.

Warlock - Begin wth Immolation, Corruption, and Curse of Agony (if non-runner/caster), Curse of Tongues (if caster), or Curse of Recklessnes (if runner). If they're a caster, start by Drain Mana, if not, proceed to Shadowbolt pelt. Make sure you summon either Felhunter or Succubus when Ping-ponging. Do NOT use Imp or Voidwalker. Imp does a good amount of damage, but does nothing when he runs outta juice. Against an elite mob, this can happen quite often. Also the little guy might pull hate if your casts are resisted. Voidwalker is a tanking pet and does piss poor damage. Unless you want to make your life more difficult, don't use him.

Hunter - Turn off auto-cast on Growl and turn it on for Cower (if you have it). Begin with Aimed Shot(if you have), Concussive Shot (if mob is non-caster) or Viper Sting (for caster). Sic your pet onto them and follow up with Concussive (if not used), Serpent Sting (if Viper wasn't used), and Arcane. Teleport back and forth as neccessary. Your pet will add a lot of DPS to your fighting, but you don't want him pulling hate. Use Distracting shot if your pet bites off more than it can chew.

C. Instance Teleporting
Obviously, the best place to do teleportation is inside of instances. Problem with instances are the adds, low movement range, and that they're all elite. Instances actually favor wand users most of all as they are a reusable unlimited ammunition ranged weapon. This isn't too say other jobs can't do it, just that they might have a little more down time or might hafta go restok on ammunition.

1)Set your distance apart to much much lower. There's not much room to manuever and you need every inch you can get.

2)Clear out any non-elite mobs first to give yourself more room. Less to link the better. Also try to only pull non-linking mobs. More links = more possibility of ranged foe = higher chance of dying.

3) Pull mobs between your points. No use in setting constant points. Using the same points over and over again saves time and let's you know when to teleport.

4) Treat bosses as super mobs. You'll probably be fighting them for a long time so be prepared. Also be aware of any tricks/special abilities they have.
----------------------------------------------------------
VI. Common Sense
1) Do NOT use hacks in public places or with a group. The only ping-ponging you can get away with is like 10 yard range, which defeats the point...you also hafta blame it on lag which is VERY iffy. This is literally 1st rule cause it is so obvious. Even showing off to your friends is risky. Using Hacks should be like being a Ninja...you must be silent, unseen, and finish the job as soon as possible.
2) Don't do stupid stuff. This is obvious yet some time or another someone gets the urge to do something retarded aka Run through Origrammar at 300% speed as a level 1 character. Yes it's silly, yes it is good for a laugh, yes it gives you a good shot of getting banned if somehow your level 1 corpse arrives at Thrall's throne without having died once to get there. Likewise, don't go into BG, grab the flag, and instantly teleport back to your flag.
3) Try to resist the urge to beat on your fellow players. Losing sucks, I know, but resist the urge to try and oomph other players. Not only does this decrease your chances of being caught, but doesn't make you out to be a f***tard to the entire server. Player Reputations can carry between games, over servers, and tend to stick around for a damn long time.
4) Lag is a great alibi. If you ever get busted for moving too fast or you stopped after moving at 300% in front of some guy, immedately disconnect yourself from the game, either by unplugging the modem or restarting it. If you pass off that you lag badly at times, you're less likely to be caught. Please note however this is bad if you want to get into Battlegrounds. A laggy reputation does not yield many organized groups.
5) If you absolutely postiively must cheat in Battlegrounds...do it responsibly. I've given ways on how to work speed into your favor. Hit a potion, crank your speed elite mount speed then switch it off when an enemy comes in close. Teleporting should ONLY be done if you have invisibilty potions or are a Rogue with Vanish. Likewise, you can teleport around a bit stealth, but make your teleports short distanced. Moving 100 yrds in a single move is impressive. Moving 10yrds might be a lag spike. 30 yrds (standard spell cast range) is decent for minor hops.
6) I haven't test track all yet, but if it tracks other players, do NOT actively seek them out. This is a big mistake made by map hackers in Warcraft 3. Knowing where your enemy is IS important. Not doing anything about it is also important. If you start actively hunting down other players like an assassin and catch them in places where none of your allies have been, people might get suspicious. Play natural at times yet don't be afraid to occassionally "Catch" a person off guard.
7) Overall...think like a Ninja. Not a crazy katana weilding lunatic but rather a skillful, stealthy, cautious enemy. Calculate your movements, your plans. Run them through in your head. "Is this a good idea?" "What are my chances of getting caught?" "Will this raise eyebrows and make people question?" And always remember:
[img]text2schild.php?smilienummer=1&text=An oppertunity missed is a terrible thing, but an oppertunity mispreformed is worse.' border='0' alt='An oppertunity missed is a terrible thing, but an oppertunity mispreformed is worse.' />
