Wall clipping : a lot of walls have little clips on them, you can use these to avoid such a hard fall when jumping big cliffs, I made it down the thousand needle cliffs with this trick, you just need to practice how to jump off.

You will either jump back up a little bit and hit the ground for very little damage, or will simply blink ahead of where you were going to land taking no damage. If you didn't wait long enough, you will blink back to the top of where you fell. This can also be nice during chases with other people....
