I figure this ones going to be pretty popular right next to Night Elf Hunter, both are great choices, the Dwarf would use a gun, and the Night Elf would use a bow.

Being a Hunter had its advantages and disadvantages. One thing you?re going to like about it is the ranged damage. The thing you won?t like about it is that you do more damage ranged than up close and personal.

The thing you have to realize is that your not a ?warrior? you?re a hunter, your strategy will be sending your pet in as your tank while you do your ranged attacks from a comfortable distance.

Unfortunately you don?t get a pet until your level 10. You?ll be level 10 by the time you clear up the whole area you started in.

Some more good news for you is that you most likely won?t use up all your mana fighting a creature. The cooldown for your attacks up close are pretty long so you don?t have to worry about stocking up on mana treats.

At low levels my strategy was to lay down a hunters mark (for added shooting damage) then attack with Serpent Sting, and Arcane Shot. Then get one last shot from the gun in, and close range it starting off with a Raptor Strike. If your in a group and you do better damage long range, stay that way.

Skills:

(I left out most beast skills mainly because there are high chances that they will change a lot over the next few months.)

Raptor Strike- At rank 1, its horrible. It adds damage onto your attack and costs you some mana. At higher ranks it does better damage.

Auto-Shoot- Fires your gun if you have one equipped in your ranged slot and you have sufficient ammunition.

Aspect of the Monkey- When you have this ?aspect? active, your character takes on the ?aspects of a monkey? and your dodge chance is increased by 8%.

Track Beasts- Tracks beasts on your radar, listing their name and location.

Serpent Sting- Stings the target, causing 20 Nature damage over 15 seconds. Only one Sting per Hunter can be active on any one target.

Arcane Shot- Does a quick instant chunk of damage, only works ranged.

Hunter?s Mark- At rank 1: Places the Hunter's Mark on the target, increasing the Ranged

Attack Power of all attackers against that target by 20. In addition, the target of this ability can always be seen by the hunter whether it stealths or turns invisible. The target also appears on the mini-map. Lasts for 2 minutes.

At higher ranks it does higher amounts of damage.

Concussive Shot- Dazes the target, slowing movement speed to 50% of normal for 4 seconds.

Aspect of the Hawk- The hunter takes on the aspects of a hawk, increasing Ranged Attack Power by 20. Only one Aspect can be active at a time.

Wing Clip- Inflicts 5 damage and reduces the enemy target's movement speed to 50% of normal for 10 seconds.

Distracting Shot- Distract the target, causing threat.

Mongoose Bite- At rank 1 it can, Counterattack the enemy for 25 damage. Can only be performed after you dodge.

Immolation Trap- At rank 1, Place a fire trap that will burn the first enemy to approach for 105 Fire damage over 15 seconds. Trap will exist for 60 seconds. Traps can only be placed when out of combat. Only one trap can be active at a time.

Track Humanoids- Track humanoids on your radar.

Track Undead- Track Undead on your radar.

Multi-Shot- At rank 1, Fires several missiles, hitting 3 targets.

Aspect of the Cheetah- The hunter takes on the aspects of a cheetah, increasing movement speed by 30%. If the hunter takes damage, he will be dazed for 4 seconds. Only one Aspect can be active at a time.

Disengage- At rank 1, Attempts to disengage from the target, reducing threat. Character exits combat mode.

Freezing Trap- At rank 1, Place a frost trap that freezes the first enemy that approaches, preventing all action for up to 10 seconds. Any damage caused will break the ice. Trap will exist for 60 seconds. Traps can only be placed when out of combat. Only one trap can be active at a time.

Scorpid Sting- At rank 1, Stings the target, reducing Strength and Agility by -20 for 20 seconds. Only one Sting per Hunter can be active on any one target.

Track Elementals- Shows the location of all nearby elementals on the minimap. Only one form
of tracking can be active at a time.

Rapid Fire- Increases ranged attack speed by 40% for 15 seconds.

Frost Trap- Place a frost trap that creates an ice slick around itself when the first enemy approaches it. All enemies within 10 yards will be slowed to 40% of their normal movement speed. Trap will exist for 60 seconds. Traps can only be placed when out of combat. Only one trap can be active at a time.

Aspect of the Beast- The hunter takes on the aspects of a beast, becoming untrackable.

Scare Beast- Scares a creature stopping it from attacking and instilling fear.

Feign Death- Feign death which may trick enemies into ignoring you. Lasts up to 6 minutes.

Track Demons- Shows the location of all nearby demons on the minimap. Only one form of tracking can be active at a time.

Flare- Exposes all hidden and invisible enemies within 30 yards of the targeted area for 30 seconds.

Explosive Trap- At rank 1, Place a fire trap that explodes when an enemy approaches, causing 100 to 130 Fire damage and burning all enemies for 150 additional Fire damage over 20 seconds to all within 10 yards. Trap will exist for 60 seconds. Traps can only be placed when out of combat. Only one trap can be active at a time.

Viper Sting- At rank 1, Stings the target, draining 616 mana over 8 seconds. Only one Sting per Hunter can be active on any one target.

Spirit Bond- Every time your pet strikes an enemy, you gain 20 health.
Aspect of the Pack- The hunter and his group take on the aspects of a pack of cheetahs, increasing movement speed by 30%. If a pack member takes damage, they will be dazed for 4 sec. Only one Aspect can be active at a time.

Track Giants- Shows the location of all nearby giants on the minimap. Only one form of tracking can be active at a time.

Volley- At rank 1, Continuously fires a volley of ammo at the target area, causing 40 Arcane damage to enemy targets within 8 yards every second for 6 seconds.

Aspect of the Wild- At rank 1, The hunter and his group take on the aspect of the wild, increasing Nature resistance by 45. Only one Aspect can be active at a time.

Black Arrow- At rank 1, Fires a Black Arrow into the target, slowing the target's movement speed to 30% of normal, causing 150 Shadow damage and draining 150 mana over 30 seconds.

Tranquilizing Shot- Attempts to remove 1 Frenzy effect from an enemy creature.

PVP Character Build
Heres a Talent build to 60 that I came up with. This would be suggested for the PvPer. Opinions appreciated.

Beast Mastery Talents (5 points)
? Endurance Training - 5/5 points
Increases the Health of your pets by 10%.

Marksmanship Talents (32 points)
? Improved Concussive Shot - 5/5 points
Gives your Concussive Shot a 20% chance to stun the target for 3 seconds.
? Improved Hunter's Mark - 5/5 points
Increases the Ranged Attack Power bonus of your Hunter's Mark spell by 15%.
? Lethal Shots - 5/5 points
Increases your critical strike chance with ranged weapons by 5%.
? Barrage - 2/2 points
Increases the damage done by your Multi-Shot and Volley spells by 10%.
? Mortal Shots - 5/5 points
Increases your ranged weapon critical strike damage bonus by 50%.
? Scatter Shot - 1/1 point
A short-range shot that deals 50% weapon damage and confuses the target for 4 seconds. Any damage caused will remove the effect.
? Hawk Eye - 3/3 points
Increases the range of your ranged weapons by 6 yards.
? Ranged Weapon Specialization - 5/5 points
Increases the damage you deal with ranged weapons by 5%.
? Trueshot Aura - 1/1 point
Increases the Ranged and Melee Attack Power of party members within 30 yards by 30.

Survival Talents (14 points)
? Precision - 5/5 points
Increases your chance to hit with melee weapons by 5%.
? Lightning Reflexes - 3/3 points
Increases your Dodge chance by 3%.
? Improved Wing Clip - 5/5 points
Gives your Wing Clip ability a 20% chance to immobilize the target for 5 seconds.
? Deterrence - 1/1 point
When activated, increases your Dodge and Parry chance by 25% for 10 seconds.

one question... does scatter interrupt a spellcast completely?

würd ich eher irgendwo nachlesen, da Leaker ja nciht der Autor der Guides ist und sich schätzungsweise nich mit allen Klassen auskennt.

Hunter Epic Bow - Demon Killed by another hunter

one of the toughest solo quests in the game is the hunter epic bow quest. This requires you to solo kill a couple of elite demons through out the game world. Normally you cannot me helped in any way shape or form. Another person that touches the demon, or heals or buffs you during the fight causes the demon to deagro and despawn and you fail the quest and then must wait 3-4 hours for the demon to spawn again. Even if you get no interaction from other players, killing him is really tough as...
