his is very simple and involves a program called GhostMouse. Now first off it's important to know that this doesn't communicate with or affect WoW in any way. What GhostMouse does is simply record a series of mouse-actions with the ability to play them back and loop them. This is how it works:
Put your WoW in windowed mode if you haven't already, and position it so you can see both the WoW window & GhostMouse.
- Click on record
- Click somewhere in your WoW window (important, don't skip this)
- Open a backpack
- Move a random item in the empty slot next to it in the backpack
- Move the same item back to the old slot
- Close the backpack
- Click "Play" in GhostMouse! This is crucial as this is what makes it loop and start over.
- You can press CTRL+ALT to pause the mouseloop at any given time.
- Click "File"->"Save...", name & save your loop.
- GhostMouse should start up at the same position next time you want to use it, so the saved loops are re-usable.
Now you can easily put yourself in an AV queue (which should be between 1-2 hours now with the x-realms), start up GhostMouse, open & play your macro and you can go out and go fishing or something. Opening / Moving items in your backpack prevents you from going AFK, so this should buy you about 3 hours to go & do something else. By the time you get back, you'll have finished the AV and you'll still be online. Doesn't really matter if you get killed, it keeps looping and you get autorezzed anyway after 30 seconds tops. If you were lucky (or Alliance -.-) your teammates won the AV for you and you have another 1k rep in the pocket Wink Some bonus honor too if that's what you're after.
The above method I have used before and it works like a charm. Personally I just let it run before I go to bed, or depart for a couple of college classes. If you're smart I think you could manage getting yourself queued after the AV ended, considering you respawn in the same spot in your hometown after the BG. You should be able to reach the AV quartermaster if you adjust the entire macro to it, but this I haven't tested yet.
EDIT: Tested now, if you disable click to move in the interface section of the main menu, you can adjust your macro so it re-queues you after AV ended. Smile So you can be virtually "afk" your way to exalted.
