as a pending charge on statements. It is used by banking and financial
institutions to verify funds for purchases. When an order is cancelled the
credit cards bank is sent a response to release the authorization charge.
This does not always happen immediately. Depending on the card holders
financial institution this usually takes between 24-48 hours to be released
and as long as 5 business days.
