For the first time in the soccer series FIFA, “Electronic Arts” is introducing female players available in 12 different teams: Germany, USA, France, Sweden, England, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Spain, China, Italy, Mexico. Thanks to new technology, 3D player modelling, and life-like head scans – The Players will look the same as they do in the real world matching every single detail from face expressions to cloth and hair movements. “EA Sports” denied the rumors that said that they just replaced male faces and used the female ones instead, saying that they made new animations that will change the whole playing experience for the gamers.
Players' modeling was done with the cooperation of the female stars: Christine Sinclair, Alex Morgan, and Stephanie Houghton. They helped the team by letting them capture their actual sizes, movements, and playing styles.
FIFA 16 is coming in September and will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 3. More information will be available after EA’s press conference during E3 on June 15.
