As discovered from Eurogamer today, the 4th addition to the Far-Cry series is to be set in the Himalayas. Ubisoft are planning to release it in the first half of 2015, and will soon be revealing more information at their conference at E3 in June.
So far, the settings of the recent Far-Cry's have been located at tropical islands and dry savannah's, so departing to the Himalayas will be quite the change. The most valued detail thus far for Far-Cry 4 is that players won't just be driving vehicles or using sky-gliders, but they'll also be able to ride Elephants! This already increases the possibility of endless opportunities (and a whole lot of fun) to a new scale.
The thought of riding elephants not enough for you? Well, you'll be glad to hear that internet star "Superannuation" announced back in February that Far Cry 4 will include 'monsters'. We don't know much about this at the moment, but rumours have arisen of an abominable snowman, dinosaurs and more!
