Seems like publisher Take-Two is really looking forward to the new fiscal year with their blockbuster, Grand Theft Auto 5. Even a lot of industry analysts assume that Grand Theft Auto 5 will keep up with record holder Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2. But now Take-Two-CEO Strauss Zelnick dared to publish his expectations of, believe it or not, 18 million sales in the first sale year after the release of Grand Theft Auto 5. He also said that he is "very, very, very, very, very, very" satisfied with the high demand of pre-orders. Their predecessor Grand Theft Auto 4 had about 25 million sales since its release in April 2008. 18 million sales in the first 12 months would be about over 49,000 copies per day or just over one copy sold every two seconds in average.
Grand Theft Auto 5 will be released for both PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms at the same time, a PC version is following a few months later. It will also feature three fully-playable characters who'll have to chop through different missions. If there'll be launch for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is unknown yet.
