Journey rocked BAFTA awards
Yesterday was held the BAFTA awards (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) for video games, and the winner of the evening was the Journey and its development studio, ThatGameCompany, who walked home with five awards. This awesome PSN adventure picked up awards for online multiplayer, artistic achievement, game design, original music and musical achievement.
Although, it was expected that the title with equal success, could pick up an award for best play, this recognition was wrested by Arcana Studios for his interesting first-person stealth title, Dishonored. The Unfinished Swan picked up two awards, for innovation in the games and the best debut, and iOS puzzle title The Room is awarded for the best British play. Valve Gabe Newell received the Academy Fellowship for recognition of his successful career in the gaming industry.
