Kurz nachdem das begehrte Minecraft 1.8 Update released wurde, stellte sich bei manchen nun die Frage, wann die 1.9 Version released wird. Man sollte dabei auch an die 2.0 denken, welche zurzeit für November geplant ist. Das heißt, dass die 1.9 irgendwann im Oktober released werden sollte. Wann das genau ist, weiß keiner. Zumindest ist uns eines klar, 1.9 wird zwar nicht so groß wie 1.8 sein, trotzdem kann man sich darüber aber sehr freuen. Wir haben hier euch mal die „Upcoming features“ aus dem MinecraftWiki hier zitiert.
Nether Update / Second Part of the Adventure Update„.[3] (around 7:40 in)
This update will include new features in the Nether, such as:
Netherrack Bricks.[4]
Finished Biome code and New Biomes.[5]
Snowy Biomes.[6]
Mushroom Biomes.[7]
Naturally generated Huge Mushrooms.
New Mushroom Cow, the Mooshroom.[8]
New Grass block.[8]
Possibly Volcanoes.[9]
New sound effects, including:
Minecart sounds.
Shears sounds.
Additional Bow sounds.
Big Slimes sounds.
Possibly the official sounds of Endermen and Silverfish.
Changes in already existing sounds:
A change in the sound of Rain.
New sounds for Doors.
New sounds for the Skeletons’ walk to make them sound more skeletony.
New Mobs:
New Mob that is stronger than other Mobs (Possibly a Boss Mob).[10]
Mooshroom Cows.
NPCs in Villages.[11]
Use for Experience (skills) will be added.[12]
Animal breeding.[13][14]
Increased number of Strongholds per map (from three to unlimited).[15]
Boss Mobs in Strongholds.[11][16]
New/Improved Armor system.[17][18]
Increased armor durability.[18]
Es wird also wieder ein schönes Update mit neuen Monstern, neuen Sounds, besseren Grafiken, mit NPC’s und vielen anderen kleinen Änderungen am Spiel. Minecraft 1.9 wird diesmal nicht ein komplett anderes und auch besseres Spiel wie beim Adventure-Update sein, aber es wird eine Art Adventure-Update 2.0.
