elitepvpers Beginners Guide - English
→ ←
Hello,
In this thread I want to help you, the ones without any experience, to have a better beginning in the elitepvpers. The reason is that we in fact have questions which are repeated all over the time and can be answered in one topic. Best would be, if you read the full thread completely, to learn how you behave correctly and what you can expect from e*pvp.

1. Board & Signature Rules
- NETTIQUETTE -
- be nice / friendly
- try to be helpful
- if you got problems with some members DON'T flame
- if a relatively new member did something wrong, please direct him to these rules and/or report the rule-violating post by clicking on this icon without insulting/flaming him
- if you have a question you don't want to post on the forum, feel free to PM a moderator; he will do his best to help you
- RULES / CONSEQUENCES FOR VIOLATIONS -
- if you post files which include trojans / keyloggers etc you definitely will get banned instantly
- if you flame / insult other members you will get an infraction
- if you post a question thread in a release section (which is marked with [NO QUESTIONS]) you get a warning / infraction (if it was your first time you'll get a warning , if you continue doing this you'll get an infraction)
- referrer links are forbidden; if you post one it will be considered spam and will end up in an infraction
- advertising without a link back to elitepvpers is forbidden and will be punished with an infraction (warning if it's for the first time)
- Advertising similar sites as elitepvpers is forbidden and will result in a ban (it doesn't matter if you've put a backlink on that site).
- Advertising your own forum hosted at a free-forum provider is not allowed.
- Posting a link to your Facebook page is only allowed if you have publicly liked elitepvpers. It does not make any difference whether you like elitepvpers by using the button provided on our website, or doing it .
- if you post racist comments, you will receive an infraction (a ban in extreme cases)
- Baiting other members is forbidden, if you have a problem with another member please use our complaint forum to solve the conflict. Furthermore we consider all scammer accusations to be baiting, no matter what proofs you have. Complaint Area/e*gold Support is your place to go in such situations.
- if you want to chat about non-game-related stuff, go to the Off-Topic and post there, but remember that even the off-topic is not a unlegislated area! Going off-topic in other areas will end up in infractions / warnings
- posts which only contain terms like "#reported/#closerequest/pm'ed/added" etc., without being constructive are considered spam (punishment accordingly)
- posting warez is forbidden, the violation of this rule usually leads to an infracton for the first time and a ban if you continue; requesting warez also is not allowed, if you do so you'll get an infraction
- doubleposting, or pushing up really old topics is not allowed and ends up in an infraction / a warning
- using survey download mirrors (e.g. sharecash) is prohibited unless there is another mirror option
- posting pornopraphic content (no matter what your definition of pornographic content is) will be punished with an infraction and in harder cases a ban
- We do not support gambling for money. Accordingly all gambling-threads which require payment for participation are prohibited. Gambling for free (actually it's just sharing) is still allowed. elitepvpers stands for free sharing
- using any avatar/signature/usertitle which could make members think you are a member of the staff though you are not, is forbidden and is to be punished with an infraction or in harder cases a ban
- abusing your avatar by adding fake or custom ranks/badges isn't allowed
- abusing the thanks-system is prohibited; you are not allowed to sell or buy thanks from another member, only give thanks for useful posts!
- if you have 3 active infraction-points you will receive a ban
- SIGNATURE RULES -
- The general board rules also apply to signatures!
- No referral links.
- A signature should not be looking displeasingly, i.e. you are not to use extremely large fonts or bright colors excessively as well as flashing animated images and such.
- Signatures should neither be offensive (e.g. because of political or religious statements), nor should they be used as a means of willingly provoking certain other members.
- The maximum file size for images used in signatures is 300kB per image.
Should your signature not comply with any of these rules, expect to be given a warning (or an infraction on consecutive violations) and your signature being deleted. Please note, that any images that are not placed within a spoiler will be resized so that they do not exceed a height of 200px.
- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / MISCELLANEOUS -
- if you want to be part of the board's staff feel free to post your application here: but please read through the sticky threads there first!
- you can also help the staff by applying for the position of a "Forum-Guardian"; more information here:
- the administration won't ban you after you request it; if you want to leave the forum just deactivate any kind of e-mail-feature in your User CP and don't visit the forum anymore
- if you have any kind of problems with the forum or the staff you can post it here:
- multi-accounting (having more than 1 non-banned account here) is forbidden and results in a ban of all accounts
- in case your statistics are being forged (thankspush etc) by yourself (referral to multiaccounting) you will get banned; if they are being forged by someone else without you having your hands on it please report it to an administrator;
- in extreme cases (a member receives one ban after another and returns everytime just to spread chaos again) the administration can issue a restraining order which will prevent you from using this forum by law, which often is connected with financial costs

Unique Ranks
Founder
This rank comes with a red username and access to Premium Shoutbox, but does not include any moderating or even administrative rights. It is a unique rank that has been created solely to honor , the founder and former owner of elitepvpers. It was his idea and also in large part his work that has turned elitepvpers into the platform as we know it today. To learn more about his resignation, see .
Support
The main purpose of those holding this rank is to assist you with your cases in forums. The rights that come with this rank are individual and can be subject to change at any time. They basically involve whatever is required to get the job done, this might include rights such as resetting elite*gold PINs or removing TBM ratings.
Even though this rank comes with a green username similar to moderators and also includes moderating rights in forums, you should not mistake it for a moderating rank. In fact, it is not even a conventional staff rank which is also one of the reasons why I am not listing this as a staff rank; apart from the fact that you cannot apply for this rank. In case you are wondering how to classify this rank in regard to the other, actual staff ranks: you can think of this rank as slightly below the rank of a moderator.
Staff Ranks
The Administrators are the ones in charge of elitepvpers. They form the agenda, add new features, appoint new staff members and have the final say in each and every crucial decision.

Global Moderators are responsible for all forums that don't have a local moderator assigned to them. Global moderators handle reports from unmoderated forums and private messages, take care of your complaints in and execute ban requests. If you are having a problem with another moderator, a general question, or stumble across a highly inappropriate post that needs to be dealt with ASAP, feel free to contact one of the global moderators.

- Access to certain private or internal forums, including
- Moderating rights throughout the entire board (forums, blogs, profiles, etc.)
- Giving warnings and infractions
- Editing and deleting posts in Premium Shoutbox

Moderators watch over the forum(s) they are assigned to. They will handle your reports, but are also the ones to contact should you be having any problems. The job of a broadcaster is quite similar to that of a podcaster, only difference is that instead of creating audio broadcasts, a broadcaster will create videos. Broadcasters have access to certain private discussion forums and may create threads in forum.

3. Infractions & Warnings
-Warning
Warnings are typically given for minor rule violations and their sole purpose is to make aware of both your misbehavior and our board rules.
Below, you find a list of some violations that would justify giving a user a warning:
- spam
- signature rule violations
- questions in a release section
A warning is usually active for one month and then expires. Though warnings with a longer period of validity are possible, they are quite uncommon and thus hardly ever given.
--For a common user, a warning is indeed nothing but a reminder of the board rules and thus has no further consequences, even not if a user had several active warnings at a time.
A Guardian however, is to expect the removal of his badge, as a warning still indicates a definite violation of our rules, which is not appropriate for someone in that position.
Applying as Guardian or even Moderator is not possible when having an active warning, whereby an application for Moderator even requires a full month without any new infractions or warnings, after the last infraction or warning expired.
-Infractions
Infractions are given for more serious rule violations and their purpose is to point out that a line has been crossed and that we tolerate this by no means.
Furthermore, infractions are given on consecutive violations, i.e. whenever a user violates the same rule he had violated before and was given a warning for.
But basically any warning, no matter for what violation it was given, might result in a harder penalty on any consecutive rule violation. The decision on that is up to the moderator responsible.
Below, you find a list of some violations that would justify giving a user an infraction:
- consecutive (minor) violations
- insults
- referer links
- warez
- rank fake
A infraction point always count as one point. As for the warning, It is count as zero.
Period of validity
An infraction is usually active for one month and then expires. Longer periods of validity are also possible on more severe violations; even permanent infractions can be given for violations that are considered inexcusable.
Points of an infraction are without effect after its expiration.
--A single infraction without any prior penalties is usually not a problem. It only becomes problematic, if there are several active infractions at once. To be more precise, it is the number of infraction points of all active infractions that matters.
When the limit of 3 points is reached, an account is banned temporarily. If you still break our rules your account will be banned permanently!
Just like a warning, an infraction will result in the removal of the badge when being a Guardian.
Applying as Guardian or even Moderator is not possible when having an active infraction, whereby an application for Moderator even requires a full month without any new infractions or warnings, after the last infraction or warning expired.
Reviewing Infractions & Warnings
After being given a warning or infraction, you might notice a new entry called Infractions on the left-hand side of your posts right below your avatar.
Once your active warnings or infractions have expired, this label will disappear. However, your past warnings or infractions can still be reviewed by accessing your infraction history.
Provided you are currently having any active infractions or warnings, this label is visible to both you and the staff, but not to other members.
The infraction history
The infraction history is a list that holds all infraction and warning that you have ever been given, including those that have already expired or turned out to be unjustified and thus have been reversed.
It will tell you exactly when and for what reason you have been given a warning or infraction and will also let you know when your active infractions or warnings will expire. Just like the infraction label, your infraction history can only be accessed by you and the staff, but not by other members.
Unjustified warning or infractions
Of course moderators are human as well and so it might happen that we make mistakes and assess a situation inaccurately which then might result in an unjustified infraction or warning.
What you can do in such a case:
First of all you should realize the reason why you were warned. admit possible misbehavior on your part.
If you still don’t see any fault on your part, you should take action. The first person to contact is the moderator who gave you the infraction or warning. Contact the responsible moderator via PM and state why you feel that your infraction or warning is unjustified.
If the moderator made an obvious mistake, he will most likely realize and reverse your infraction or warning right away.
Should the moderator not give in and you are still not aware of having done anything wrong, you should create a topic in in order to discuss the matter with the whole team.
When doing so, you should explain the situation as comprehensibly as possible and point out why you feel that your infraction or warning is unjustified.
4. The Report System
At the begin I would like to show you where you can find the Report System. Watch out for this sign ( ). You can find it under every post, straight to the left side under the profil of member XY. Here is a small clarification.
After clicking on the icon, there will be a text box that looks like this:
Reasons for report
You can enter a reason for your report in the box. The most common reasons for a report are the following:
- Closerequest
- Spam
- Harassment
- Inappropriate language
- Moverequest
Reporting Private Message
Here I want to tell you that you can also report private messages, if there is any reason for. The button is located at the top right instead of being below every single post like you are used to.

A middleman is actually a person who makes your trade safer.
Requirements for a middleman:
- No negative Black Market rating
- A Black Market balance of at least 10
- Member for at least 3 months
- High account activity (min. posts: 300)
Please keep in mind that every single middleman is unofficial! elitepvpers is NOT responsible for any trade being conducted here! Members of are not allowed to offer any middleman services, so don't be fooled by anyone claiming otherwise
If your Trade/Sellingpartner is offering to trade with a Middleman, please let the Middleman send you a PM (Private Message) on Elitepvpers first, to be sure that the middleman you want to trade with is really the one he is saying he is and not just someone impersonating an Elitepvpers user.
Before you start a trade with an middleman make sure he shows you his phone verification (url + password).
A phone verification url looks like this:
After entering the password (which you also receive from the middleman) you are able to view the number.
NOTE: Please keep in mind that every single middleman is inofficial! elitepvpers is NOT responsible for any trade being made here!
9. Always Request A Trade
As of now, requesting a trade is considered mandatory in all forums of Black Market that support this feature (i.e. all forums except , and ). Any trade that is conducted without requesting a trade via Black Market will not be supported.
Please note that there is one exception: If your trade involves an elite*gold transaction of at least 26 elite*gold, you are not to request a trade in addition to that, as the elite*gold transaction by itself can already be rated. Doing it nonetheless is considered TBM abuse and might result in severe penalties.
The Request a Trade feature allows you to conduct a trade via Black Market and to exchange ratings after a trade. This way, legit traders will benefit from positive ratings whereas possible scammers can be marked as such for everyone else to see. Detailed instructions on how to use this feature can be found here:
Here are another few aspects for you to keep in mind when using this feature:
- A trade is to be requested before any goods are exchanged with the other party.
- A trade request must always be accepted by the other party! Only trades that have been mutually agreed upon by both parties are valid and can be rated.
- Never enter any confidential data in the text box labeled "Notes"! This text will be visible to the other party before it accepts your trade request. Use the private field instead in case you would like to share confidential information after the trade request has been accepted.
- If the other party declines your trade request or comes up with some excuse for not accepting it, you should in any case abort the trade right away!
10. Trade Safer ---> Paypal/e*gold
These are just tips that I've made in the course of the use of epvp. Since I had already been scammed out of more than 500€, I've tightened my safety measures. Now I would like to share these with you! Yet, they're only meant for "Paypal - EliteGold" and "EliteGold – Paypal".
You don't have to follow them, and there will always be the chance of getting scammed. With these tips, you can only trade more safely. I neither received these tips from the moderation nor from someone else. I've made them myself and therefore I cannot guarantee anything!
Let's get to the essentials now:
In my view, every trade consists of 5 rough things:
- Search for a trading partner
|--> Investigation - Negotiation
- Making safety arrangements / Trading
- Rating
- Giving feedback
1. Search For a Trading Partner
I think this is in itself easy to understand. Before starting a trade, you need a trading partner. In doing so, you should use your common sense. There are many ways to find a trading partner. In the following, I will go into the 2 most known possibilites.
- Exchange Service Thread
- "Hunting" Offers
Definitions
1. Exchange Service Thread:
This is the usual:
User A wants to earn some money by trading with e*gold and Paypal. Now he doesn't want to begin to search for customers, but to appear professionally and to have an exchange service thread.
The feedback of customers will be given in this thread and the thread can be pushed once every 4 hours in e*gold trading.*
The main post usually contains a fixed rate for purchases and sales. Therefore, it's well-defined who takes the PayPal charges. In some cases it's possible to haggle.
This variant is more unsafe for the service provider in my opinion.
Let me explain why:
Our User A has just now created his thread. A bit later, someone who wants to exchange something gets in touch with User A. The only insight which User A has is:
The User wants to trade sum X against sum Y.
You can indeed do background research, however I've noticed user doing that in very rare cases.
You aren't forced to do research (explained under 1.A), although it's pretty useful. Many user are, unfortunately, too lazy to do that.
I begin to wonder at the following points:
- If new users who have almost only 5 posts have a good knowledge.
- If someone contacts me and everything works out smoothly, then it's quite suspect.
|--> It should be noted that my rate is very profitable for me. Most of the users are trying to haggle, though.
- Nobody has something to give away. If something works too well, then it's a sign that something isn't going well.
- Remember one thing: A trade in which you can receive 15€ for 500 EliteGold (see risk trades) seems to be good at the first moment.
But once your trade partner has reversed the money, you get angry because of the losses.
2. "Hunting" Offers:
This possibility means the following:
If you are continuously looking for users who create a topic with a specific search or if you contact people who, for example, have got a lot of EliteGold and you offer them to exchange all their EliteGold at an unprofitable rate. Most of the users go into it, since, as a result, they don't have to care about reselling anymore.
This variant is safer for the provider in my view, because you (the provider) are forced to do a little research. If not, you cannot have potential customers.
Furthermore, the provider can become better acquainted with its customers in this way, as he has a more intensive conversation.
I begin to wonder at the following points:
- If new users who have almost only 5 posts have a good knowledge. Such trades are "risk trades". You should do an extensive research and take safety arrangements. Otherwise you shouldn't contact him/her.
- If I contact someone and everything works out smoothly, then it's quite suspect. Users almost always haggle. If not, it's dubious. For example: If someone says "Have 12,46€ Paypal, I'm searching EliteGold!!" and instantly accepts 400 e*gold, then it's quite suspect.
- Nobody has something to give away. If something works too well, then it's a sign that something isn't going well.
- Remember one thing: A trade in which you can receive 15€ for 500 EliteGold (see risk trades sounds good at the first moment.
But once your trade partner has reversed the money, you get angry because of the losses.
1.A The Investigation:
- Is the user ID verified? This would mean that the user's bank account has been verified. "Should you be scammed by an ID verified members, elitepvpers will forward the users address if requested by the authorities." It's pretty difficult to fake that but it's possible. Therefore, there is no 100% safety. In the following you can see how it looks like to verify an ID.
- How long is the user registered? Accounts which are registered since more than 6 years (and only have 3.000 posts) scam more rarely than accounts which are registered since 2 months (and have more than 5000 posts). That's not a rule but since the account is actually more valuable, the user wouldn't put its account at risk.
- How many TBMs does the user have? This isn't absolutely significant, however it increases the worth of accounts. Therefore, if you trade correctly, he would risk his account. Many users wouldn't do that, as they would make losses in the long term.
- How many posts does the user have? Users who have more than 20,000 posts and 3,000 thanks have put a lot of time in epvp. Because of that, only few people risk their account for small amounts. A person who has merely got 5 posts is in general not so trusted as persons who have got 5,000 posts. Even if the person with 5 posts has got 5 TBMs more than the user with 5,000 posts.
- Look at the last posts of the user.
- Search thoroughly in the . You might find tickets which the user is involved in. If yes, read it carefully!
- Look at his threads. There are mostly less than 3 pages, which you can skim. If he hasn't got only a thread named "I necessarily need XY€ PayPal credit for amazon orders, AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!!" but also a parallel one named "WTS XY€ Paypal, searching PSC", then it's suspect/unsafe and most probably scam. Be careful: It's possible that the user sends your money to another user (who has the PSC) and accordingly gets the PSC. He would have scammed both of you with this trick.
- Make sure if the user has, for example, a steam shop or something else. This would explain why the user would have money. Money doesn't grow on trees. If someone has suddenly lots of e*gold, then it has an obvious reason. If not, care should be taken, especially if the trade should be done fast (because of tiredness, hunger, lack of time, friend, girlfriend, mother, father, son). At this I would take care if the money has been stolen.
- You should of course look at the last TBMs and click on the trade partner as well. Maybe the user has multi accounts which he used to push TBMs of its scamming/main account. You should preferably look for trusted user which you personally trust. You should wait some days until someone has traded with that person and given its okay that everything is fine.
- Although it sounds silly: Pay attention to the EliteGold. Many users write to me "Whazzup Mose, you wanna buy 2,000 e*gold?" When I respond with my price, they agree, but when I see that they don't have e*gold, they say that they will receive it in a moment, and they immediately want to get rid of their e*gold as well. At this you should be very careful! It might be scam, since trades (especially with higher totals) should be done calmly. It shouldn't seem to be suspect. And if someone hasn't got e*gold, he can accordingly not sell you e*gold. He should just contact you if he has got the e*gold (at this he has probably left marks which you can find by researching.
- If the trade seems to be suspect, you should NOT trade. Just to make sure. If you still would like to trade with him/her, ask his/her previous trade partners about his/her trade. You can also ask an experienced trader (which you trust) to look whether or not the user is trusted. It doesn't hurt to ask and it might help you along.
2. Negotiation:
Negotiations are an art in theirself.
In my view, they should be proceeded in this manner:
1 - You say welcome to your trade partner and ask him how he feels. If he needs something, you ask if you can help him.
2 - Both traders are fine. They start trading with each other. You negotiate the price (you can take as a "standart rate" 1:50. This means: 1€ Paypal is 50 e*gold) Before you start trading (using the "request a trade feature), you should make clear why your trade partner wants to start with trading. If there's something wrong with the background story, then you can break the trade at this point. If someone wants to trade honestly, he doesn't have to conceal something from you.
Example:
After you have negotiated, you should keep the trade conditions and confirm them as well, in order to avoid misunderstandings.
3. Making Safety Arrangements:
Beforehand: You need a "request-thread" for my method. I'm going to explain that in the attachment.
This point is especially important for you as offerer, as you can learn how to be on the safe side. For this I've saved the trading procedure as .txt in the course of time, which I send users I trade with.
This means:
The research was successful, everything is plausible, the user seems to be trusted, the trade has been agreed by both users, the background story is impeccable.
Now you have to chose how many safe arrangements you are going to make.
I can say in general: If you're going to trade more than 100€, you should ask for a copy of your trade partner's identification document. At this you have to pay attention to the following:
- It must not be edited!
- The copy of the identification document has to be photographed on a recent newspaper.
- The date must be visible.
- The user has to write "epvp" and its username on the newspaper.
- The copy has to be photographed on both sides and it has to be readable.
Important:
Agreements such as "I'll give you my number and you call me so that we can talk (a bit)" are only used to gain your trust. Experienced scammers can just give an anonym number (for example of a useless handy) and can seem to be extremely friendly, even though they aren't. Who would say during a telephone conversation "I'm going to scam u, you fucking asshole retard!!!111!!"
Therefore, never fall for that!
If you trade small sums like 10€, the common safety measures should be enough.
One of the safety measures is to have a screenshot of the verified account of your trade partner. The other one is that the trade runs in a defined way.
In order to illustrate that, I publish my "template" which I've made over time. I send it per PN to my trade partners [B]and I always save a copy of it in my "Sent Items" box. (That's quite important because if the trade shouldn't run as planned, you will need it to show the support the trade conditions.)
As of late, I request a read receipt for private messages just to know what's going on. Sometimes you have to wait ~30 minutes for the trading partner and can be unsure. With requesting a read receipt, you have more certainty and you might also converse with your trade partner about it.
The content of the trading procedure:
My template when I'm selling e*gold for PayPal credits.
As you can see:
The title precisely defines the trade. There is no negotiation. I would be able to prove everything if I should be scammed.
You usually write following in the private field:
I usually add as a notice "Please strictly follow the trade procedure!" again.
Therefore, all steps are accurately defined and nothing can go wrong. If your trading partner doesn't stick to it and gives, for example, "purchase of mobile phone" as a note, then resend the money and let him try to do it again. If he fails again, then simply cancel the trade.

How to accept a trade:
4. Rating:
If everything worked well, be fair and rate your partner with a + TBM. Important at this: You're allowed to give one TBM only! Either you rate the trade or the transaction. Here I usually chose the trade.
How to rate:
Keep in mind that this can also help you in future when you research. Rating is fair and important.
5. Giving Feedback:
Giving a honest and, if possible, positive feedback is fair as well as rating. You help other people forming an opinion about trader. Please use this opportunity!
Don't post "++++ everything worked well ++++" as a feedback, if possible. Instead, post a honest feedback such as "After intensive baragining we could agree on a trade. The user has given me his/her copy of identification document as security for me. The trade worked well, even if he was in a tearing hurry." What I wanted to say with it: Be honest and not standard like "Top trade and top trader+++!!", as this doesn't help others in their research.

Risk Trades:
In my view, risk trades are trade agreements with a risk. Since I only refer to e*gold (which is pretty safe as you can proof everything if you get it) and Paypal, I will only go into Paypal.
Paypal as risk:
After the transaction, the purchaser can enter an objection for 45 days and can therefore try to win back the money.
--> The case will be done within 20 days.
- If there is an unauthorized access, paypal can determine it if desired by purchaser and can therefore reverse the transaction, even if everything works well.
It's important to say that paypal's buyer protection doesn't work at our trades (except there is an unauthorized access), therefore we should actually be safe. Yet, you shouldn't be too folish. Experienced scammers will always find ways to bypass that. For this reason:
Risk trades with Paypal:
Trades of new members or users who don't seem to be trusted usually have good rates (1:35 – 1:45), however the trading partner has nothing to lose if he takes it back.
If you still want to make a thread wich such persons, pay scrupulous attention to the sales conversation.
If desired, I could also make a thread only about risk trades in which I'd tell you something about my experiences. : D
Paypal Note Explanation:
Once I were scammed several times, regardless of whether I was purchaser or seller, I talked about 2 hours with Paypal and they explained me everything.
The friendly employee was overworked at the time when I was trying to explain her what "e*gold" is.
Yet, we came to the conclusion that she explained me:
There is no buyer and seller protection if you're trading virtual goods. Therefore, you cannot win your money back.
I can approve that, as I had a trade in which I was scammed. A worker (Paypal) asked me "is it right that you've traded with virtual goods?" I said "yes" and he answered "There is no buyer and seller protection if you were trading virtual goods. We are sorry for that."
Therefore, I lost my money. For this reason I can say with a clear conscience that you can significantly increase your safety with this method.
Yet, you should be careful, since Paypal wants to implement a buyer/seller protection for virtual goods. However, the employe couldn't say the date. It will probably be finished next year.
Request Thread Explanation:
A request thread is a thread that is used to request trades, since you cannot request a trade in the e*gold section.
I almost always open it for concrete feedbacks and close it after that so that nobody can spam there. Important: You should only have one main post and give thanks to trading partners for their feedback, otherwise it could be classified as posthunting.
Important²: You're allowed to rate someone only once either by the trade itself or the transaction. Rating both of them is tbm pushing and can therefore be punished accordingly!
The following thread is an example for a request thread:
The last tip:
Never trade by Skype, because epvp do not accept evidence from external sources; that is, no chat logs, and screenshots or videos only if they include proof taken from epvp that they can actually verify. If you want to have support by Luke and Mai-Lin, then you should exclusively make the trade in epvp!

What is BB Code?
BB code is a set of tags based on the HTML language that you may already be familiar with. They allow you to add formatting to your messages in the same way as HTML does, but have a simpler syntax and will never break the layout of the pages you are viewing. The ability to use BB code is set on a forum-by-forum basis by the administrator, so you should check the forum rules when you post a new message.
12. The Star System
The stars are (until now) calculated by the following values:
Here's the order of the 'values' of the stars:Quote:
* Postcount
* elite*gold Count
* Bought Elitegold
* Thx Count
* Register Date
* Infractions (=> Less Points)
13. Premium AdvantagesQuote:
A premium subscription can be bought via e*gold (which can be bought or at our black market-sections). The following table shows the costs:
e*gold | Dollar | Euro | period |
---|---|---|---|
500 e*g | 24,99$ | ~20€ | 1 year |
1000 e*g | 49,99$ | ~40€ | 3 years |
You will be added to the premium-user-group instantly after purchasing one of the subscriptions. If you have already been premium before purchasing it again, the subscription period will be extended.
A premium subscription grants you the features:
- You will be added to the Premium Usergroup
- Access to the e*pvp premium forums
- Permission to sell elite*gold for real money
- Access to the Shoutbox to chat live with other users and staff on the site 24/7
- Ad-Free site browsing
- 50% discount on name changes and ID verifications
- Private message storage of 1000
- Beta to all new site features
- Colored username
- Special rank
- Priority support (which doesn't mean live support!)
- No private message deletion after 3 months
- Giving elitepvpers something in return for providing free guides and strategies for all kind of mmos
- Buying Premium increases your star level
Since this could be a bit confusing to some of you, I'll elaborate a little on the main features.
The first thing you will notice as a premium member is the shoutbox. The shoutbox is basicly a chat which is equal to an IRC or the longest epvp thread. You will find the shoutbox at the of our board and .
The shoutbox is a place to talk to other e*pvp members, but there are some rules besides the global board rules, too, and you will receive warnings/infractions for breaking them!
And here it is:
... and the "bigger" shoutbox:
Another very important premium feature is the ability to access the e*pvp premium forums (Premium Main and Premium Releases & Sharing). Always remember: you will receive infractions/warnings for breaking the board rules or the section rules here, too!
The premium main section is basically the same as the offtopic section with the difference that only premium users can access it. You will find threads like the longest premium thread and a lot of offtopic stuff.
The premium releases & sharing section is more like the freebies forum. You will find a lot of raffles, releases dedicatetd to the premium members (for example some applications to use the shoutbox without visiting epvp and some (visual) modifications to have more fun using the shoutbox) and some accounts for one-click-hosters.
It's your decision whether or not to buy a premium subscription, but I recommend you to do it. I bought it to give e*pvp something in return for providing this wonderful board, but now I enjoy the shoutbox a lot and I will extend my subscription period soon. I'd recommend you to try premium for a year; in my opinion, it is totally worth it!
