Sorry you got scammed that was very foolish to download something from somebody. It's not so much that you lost it but that a scammer actually got it. That just makes him want to keep scamming.

It's a shame. Just try to sell your character on ebay or something, you still got that right?

What I mean is that it's more unfortunately that a SCAMMER got a hold of your stuff than you, one person alone, losing stuff. When a scammer gets stuff it encourages him to scam more thus harming more innocent people just like you. Yes, I understand that you probably put a lot of money into the account, but by you being scammed it sucks for the other people that will soon be victims as well.

Halsman, this is true... I have played several p2p games in my past, considering I am 16 now I don't really care to pay each month anymore. I used to play SWG which costed (like many others) $15 a month to play. 500 silk is a lot more expensive than a 15 a month game. I bought 500 and used it strictly on GT, ran out within 2 1/2 weeks. Cutting a hole in my wallet.
