Jobs / Trading / Conflict Update
Classes
Hunter: Hunters gain profit by protecting caravan NPCs (Trader NPCs) and sweeping smuggling operations.
Thief: Thieves gain profit by raiding caravans and smuggling.
Trader: Removed, it is now NPC trader only.
Selecting Jobs: Only one Job is permitted per account.
The chosen Job can be removed through a Job NPC in each town.
Advancement: You can advance in ranks by fulfilling certain requirements in each stage.
Without advancing, you cannot reach the next level even with Job EXP.
Job Skill Tree: Job-exclusive skills are added which can only be used while assuming a Job.
They are listed under 'Job' in the Skills window. Skills that can be learned vary depending on the level.
Here are the Job Skill tree:
Ranks: You gain reputation according to the Job activities and the reputation earns you ranks (titles). With higher ranks come attribute bonuses.
Trading through Job Activities (kill monster out of town with job suit to complete a job quest)
When involved in Job activities, you can participate in trading activities through trading and smuggling quests.
You can use the 'Safe Mode' to protect yourself from characters whose level is greater than your own by 5 or more.
However, you cannot undertake consignment and target trading in Safe Mode.
Consignment Trading (Buy specialty goods and assign them to a trader npc and protect him)
Through indirect trading by consigning items to an NPC,
you can invest specialty goods and gain profit according to the investment.
Although specialty goods used in trading can be obtained regardless of the Job state,
the Job state yields higher chance of obtaining specialty goods.
Also, you can seize specialty goods from characters of the hostile Job.
Target Trading (you are the trader, no npc trader with you?!?)
Direct trading achieved through transporting specialty goods directly (yourself),
target trading yield great profit when successful. Upon failure, however, you can lose all of your specialty goods.Because of the high risk, your Job rank must be 2 or higher. Once you apply for target trading with an NPC, transport the goods from the current town to Hotan.
(If you are attacked and die during trading, all specialty goods are dropped.)
New Craft System
You can now create items! (Siege/Alchemy/Trade)
Siege Items
Type: battering rams, catapults
Feature: You can craft the material required to construct the Fortress War weapons.
Alchemy Items
Type: socket stones
Feature: You can craft socket stones of the lowest quality - highest quality. Depending on the chance of success, you can obtain 2-3 alchemy items.
Trade Items
Type: Job-exclusive equipment (Thief, Hunter), Magic Runes, Reinforcement Runes
Feature: You can craft Job-exclusive equipment or alchemy items by using items gained through trading (Stones, Tickets). Alchemy items are divided into different grades. These are created randomly.
