You need LAST version of VMware - 6.5... with DX3D support - also VMware Workstation.
And it WORKS !!!
You need PC with enough RAM - about 2 Gb for more then one bot+client.
When you tune up your Virtual OS - _TURN_OFF_ALL_ effects in windows settings(use TuneUP Utilities)!!!
Then you need minimum 512 Mb RAM for each VirtMachine for adequate response. 768-1024 and you can run a taxi-char too in minimized window-state.
And better, when you run Silkroad in "windowed 800x600" mode with very low settings for game effects(turn possible all of them OFF).
