hey bro relax!
if you are using ibot its probably the reason you're getting that problem... just look for ibot.exe in the process and kill it (ctrl + alt + delete) after that, delete ibot, and restart your pc...
**Make sure that ibot, sro_client.exe, silkroad.exe and ibot port 16000, 16010, 16050 are allowed by your firewall**
also try installing your Silkroad in a different place instead of C:\ program files\ silkroad
try installing it on a drum drive (flash drive) then run it! these steps usually work for me ^^
