restart it and try it again and do it by hand not by a batch file. for that just open sql go on database and click right mouse and select attach

Hey Teddy I'm already working on Update.exe I follow the tuturial every step but it gives error that "cannot process name or adress of the server" what is wrong? I did all exacly how srshaden told in he's tuturial

sry but this thread is actually not about the updater.exe tutorial its about the server files therefore this is completly off topic. Anyway i cant help u much with that problem either since i do my updates in a complet other way ( i use the function IIS of my VPS for that) so i suggest u to make a new thread in the private server section where other ppl might be able to help u more.

Hi everyone , Im extremely noob on game servers , but Im good at coding and database . What I want to ask is , I already have a ep4 set on my server . I would like to use ep 6 , do you think I can use the current db setup , or I should use the files in that rar file ? Or can I make a partial change ?

the db should be upgraded but i believe not the db will bring the most errors it will be prolly the server files. if u want u can add me in skype and i can go through the stuff with u since it would be quiet alot to type in here and there might still alot questions open. so might be the best way.
ps: if u add me in skype put the reason why u add me. otherwise im not accepting ppl anymore in skype
