awesome thnx Sniper, I actually was just doing that. I figured it wasn't a server issue, had to of been client & server conflict. This will make it much easier then guessing when to stop the updater. Thnx again!!

I just started SQL and this server thing 2-3 weeks ago so really new to all this. Over all it wasn't to hard getting it started with the guide. Now will come the fun stuff or should I say headache lol

If you don't plan on opening your server fully public yet & just want friends an such to join you can manually make accounts, Although I have seen several servers make accounts manually for a while. Here's a link to the tut.
There is also a couple threads/posts about how to make a script for the registration. I will look them up in a few and post back.

Salutations all. Still using ep3 files....which client would be recommended to connect to 120.0.0.1 ? (I have 3 diff clients: US_090210 , US_090508, and Shaiya Pandora.)
And is there only 1 IP in the client to change? (the "72.55.177.194" one?)

My apologies for asking so many questions...this is my first Shaiya server....and I just today got the server to stay all green. What does this mean plz "Create shortcut with arguments added to end of Target "start game" ?

You might want to update your server to EP4 as most of the pservers are at ep4(you can find it in prof's guide).

"Create shortcut with arguments added to end of Target "start game"
1. Right click your game.exe and select Create Shortcut(name it whatever you like)
2. Right click your new shortcut and select Properties
3. In your target line you will see some text inside quotation marks. Click after the second quotation mark and press SPACE. Type "start game" in your target line without quotation marks and select Apply. It should look like this: Desktop\Shaiya\Game.exe" start game

*It's an easy way to bypass using the update launcher.

Naa don't change all of them just your PublicIP in these two places.

Sniper, I patched up to 108 and it loses the IP in the EXE I can't find it. I can only patch my client up to 100 before the IP changes or gets scrambled not sure which. Do you know if the IP was changed after 100 patch or am I doing something wrong?
Most is working though with the client version being at 100. The item mall is fubar though x.x Leads me to my next questions anyone willing to help me out on that if so, would you add me to MSN or Skype.

Both US_090210 and US_090508 install at episode 3 they upgrade to episode 4 clients at about v51 i believe.

The shortcut with arguments is only needed if the client you use tries to open the updater. if so just use lilpro's patcher to patch it to skip updater and all should be fine.

All seems to be right if you are running the server on a network you need to forward the ports for it through your router.
And allow through or disable firewalls.

Ports are as follows:

If anyone can help me out with this issue i will appreciate. my server is up but is on episode 3 but interface is on episode 4, what client i need to have to have the interface episode 3. i already try version

That is where you need to patch your game.exe with lilpro's patcher it will allow gameplay without running the updater.

Of course the best route is to create your own client and edit's using lilpro's Decrypted EP4 sdata files.



With that you get decrypted sdata files and a game.exe that runs them

i did everything like on your vid but install server batch doesnt wor its says always Login Failed for User PC .

Anyone out there know how to repack the data.saf after editing or to combine them manually? I have read every post and yet to find anything on this but, there must be a way as a lot of servers have edited NPC's, Item mall, Gear etc....

I downloaded lilpro's decrypted files, unpacked the original data.saf, I have everything edited, Just need a way to repack or get the client to read them.
