Anyone know how to make someone a [GS] on a private server?

Like the thread reads, just wondering if anyone knows how to give [GS] rights to a character.

Yes this is simple. Go into the Characters Database and find the Character you want to make a GS. Then simply edit the char name coloumn by simpling putting the [GS] tags in front of their name. Then save the DB. And youre done

I think he's asking for how to make GM but just got them mixed up lol...

Well if it is actually GS then do what Adam said if there was a mix up and you meant GM go to the user master part of the DB find the account you want to make a GM account in the Admin colum type True and in the Admin level part type 255

Sql Management Studio's Express, it's used for most everything for a private server.

[GS] rights? You mean different level of GM powers? You set it with Status in PS_UserData.dbo.Users_Master.

Set CharName='[GS]<charname>'
Where CharName='<charname>'

go in your sql :

Connect -> Databases -> PS_GameData -> Tables -> dbo.Chars (Open Table)

Search the Name and edit the Name to [GS]name

or any other waht you want [king]name
