Changing from Dual to 1 handed weapond?

made a new dagger kind. but it say's it's dual weapond. and i want to use a shield with that i have made my self too. but how can i change a dual wepond back to 1 handed?

please help

hmm, definitively not the "only thing" ... it seems you also don't understand the difference between a "5" and a "10", I'm dealing with the type of item of course, in case you ... don't understand that too.

a dagger is a dagger IF AND ONLY IF its type is 10, you can call it whatever you want and use whatever shape you want, if you had define it in the bank 5 (the one of the double-weapon), it is NOT a dagger but a dual-sword or dual-axe.

"how to change a dual wepond back to 1 handed" is so simply meaningless.

LOL. now i understand. no i just used one in the item files and it's one of the type 58. but now you kind of answerd my question on how to change right? LOL

just make it in another type and your done:-P

why i called it a dagger kind is this can be used by rangers,assasins and magical users. so a dagner thingy. LOL. i know it's a sword:.-)

58 was valid for a dagger (yeah shall read "IF AND ONLY IF it's 10 ... or 58).

but indeed if "i wanna a dagger" means "i want a 1-hand sword", 58 was wrong and it must be (see above)

but still it says dual when you try to use shield with it..

but if i change it to 10 it will auto go back to 1 handed?

I think he's suggesting you set a dagger (Type: 10/58) to a 1 handed sword (Type: 1)
