Many of you have asked about the World Cup this year, yes - there will be one, but there will be a much simpler event in relation to major events of the previous game. The event will begin on June 28 and will continue until the end of the World Cup. In addition, next week (scheduled for June 17), we will launch an updated version of Carnival of Souls.

Carnival of souls event

Event run time:
17th June, 12 noon (local server time) until 29th June, 12 noon (local server time).

The Black Market will remain open until the end of the day on 2nd July.

Event ammo:
Confetti Ammo and Voodoo Doom Ammo will be available during the event and will cause much more damage against the Postman NPC.

Postman NPC:
Not only will you be able to get Tickets from the Postman NPC, but there will also be a small chance of getting the Queen’s Legacy for 14 days if you cause the most damage against him. Don’t forget, the maximum time of the Queen’s Legacy is 56 days so you won’t be able to get that item for longer than that.

Ship designs and Pets:
The designs and pets from last year are available in the Black Market as well as 1 new design and 1 new pet with the following stats:

Soul Catcher ship design:
Elite level 0-22: Bonus Damage: 13%, Bonus Hit Points: 65,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 37,500.
Elite level 23-24: Bonus Damage: 14%, Bonus Hit Points: 71,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 40,000.
Elite level 25-26: Bonus Damage: 15%, Bonus Hit Points: 77,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 42,500.
Elite level 27: Bonus Damage: 16%, Bonus Hit Points: 83,000, Bonus Voodoo Points: 45,000.

It will also have 10% bonus on harpoon damage, no matter what your elite level is.

Zhu-Long pet:
The new Zhu-Long pet has 30,000 Voodoo Points and a 15% extra chance of not getting hit.

Each mini-game will have its own ranking which means it’s a ranking and at the end of the event, the winner of each of the three mini-games per server will win a Libra Bonus Map. The next 4 players per server will get an Aquarius Map and 5 randomly chosen players per server (who made it into the top 100 in the ranking) will get a Taurus Bonus Map.
For the High Striker and the Shepherd’s Game, all points you make will be added up over the whole event. Therefore, the more you play them the more points you will get at the end of the event and the more chance you have of winning! The Speed Racer works differently as only your best score counts.

Just to confirm the new end date is the 30th June, 12 noon (local server time). The Black Market will be open until the end of the day on 3rd July (local server time).

The post-event compensation is Skyfire Explosion (1:1 for Cursed Souls and 1:30 for Radiant Souls).

In addition, after the sync the Postmen will contain a small amount of pearls as an extra reward which will be rewarded depending on how much damage you do.

The Championship Event 2014 - from 28th June until 14th July, 2014

What are the start and end dates of the event?

The event will start at 12 noon (local server time) on 28th June and will end at 12 noon (local server time) on 14th July. The event will be split up into the following phases:

During the event there will be 5 different phases where the following national ship NPCs will sail around:

• Group qualifiers: 28th June – 2nd July
  
• Quarter-finalists: 4th July – 6th July
  
• Semi-finalists: 8th July – 10th July
  
• 3rd / 4th playoff teams: 12th July – 13th July
  
• World Cup finalists: 13th July – 14th July!

National ship NPCs of the soccer teams that are in these rounds of the real World Cup will sail around during the above times. Therefore, all the teams who managed to qualify from the groups stages of the World Cup will sail around during the first few days of the event (28th June – 2nd July). The teams who win their knockout round games will sail around during the next phases until there are just two NPC ships sailing around for the dates of the World Cup final (from 13th July until 14th July).

What rewards can I get from shooting the national NPCs?

All nation designs will give Experience Points as a reward as well as items, such as football ammo, Triton’s Blessing or Black Powder, depending on how much damage you cause. With each phase, the amount you get will improve. From the semi-final stage onwards you will also be able to get some pearls as a reward depending on how much damage you have caused.

The national ship NPCs can be shot with gold and therefore we recommend you use gold ammo to sink them. Using gold ammo will preserve your precious pearl ammo and give you a higher return on investment as gold ammo is much easier to get hold of! We have even put a small buff on gold ammo so that you will cause more damage than usual against the national ship NPCs.

In addition, the player who causes the most damage will have a chance of winning the ship design of the national ship NPC they are shooting at.

Don’t forget that in each new phase, only the real-life World Cup teams that qualify for the next round will be available to shoot on the sea chart! Therefore, if you want to try and win as many of the designs as possible, it would make sense to try and shoot the national ship NPCs of the team you think will be knocked out of that round.

What else will happen during the event?

During the entire event the Champion Ship NPC will sail over all PvP maps. The Champion Ship is very rare and can only be shot with Pearl ammo. Rewards include Pearls, Crystals and Experience Points, depending on how much damage you cause against it. The rewards from the Champion Ship will stay the same throughout the event.

Soccer Ammo can be purchased in the Black Market and will cause extra damage against the Champion Ship and national ship NPCs.

What stats do the ship designs have?

All ship designs will have the following stats (no matter what Elite Level you are):

• Bonus Damage: 5%
  
• Harpoon Damage: 10%
  
• Bonus Hit Points: 5,000
  
• Bonus Voodoo Points: 5,000
  
• There is also an additional 30% Experience Point bonus!

Although the ships aren’t that powerful right now, don’t forget you will soon be able to use them with better stats once milestone 2 of the Transmogrification system is live!

What happens during the event?

During the event, sailing through the Freedom NPCs in all PvP maps. Freedom NPC opponents to shoot only pearl ammo, but the flares causing additional damage. The sinking of the catch includes experience points, beads and crystals. They depend on the amount due to your injury.

I saw thread from terrorise. Well, i can say nothing you can do. After script will be finished, BP planing to run it on next week. Of course it will not take all exp that players made on that event, but that part of exp that was bugged will be taken.

Milestone 3 – Transmogrification System​



Ahoy Pirates,

It is almost time for milestone 3 of the Transmogrification System to go live!

With the release of milestone 3 you will notice something new on the Safe Haven maps – the Gem Cutter! When you visit the Gem Cutter you will finally be able to craft your current gems to create better, more powerful ones for gold or pearls depending on what level gem you are trying to craft.

The way it works is quite simple – place 4 gems of the same level in the sockets and click on the green button in the middle. In order to be able to craft a new gem, all 4 sockets must be filled. If you place 4 gems of the same type (for example 4x level 13 (65,000 Hit Point) gems) in the 4 sockets you will have a 100% chance of forging 1x level 14 (70,000 Hit Point) gem. If you only have 3x 65,000 Hit Point gems and 1x other gem, you will have a 75% chance of creating a 70,000 Hit Point gem.

The gem you craft will depend on the combination of gems you placed in the sockets.

Please remmber Special gems cannot be crafted.

You can also take a risk and only put 1x or 2x the gem you want to craft – however if you do this you will only have a 25% or 50% chance of getting the improved gem you want.

Don’t forget - once you have crafted the gems, your 4 old gems will be destroyed and your new gem will be created!

If you aren’t happy with the gem that you crafted you can re-roll but it will cost you some gold or pearls depending on what level gem you are trying to craft.

Re-rolling doesn’t guarantee you will get the gem you want! You are able to re-roll 3 times at which point you will have to keep the gem you are left with.

If all that wasn’t enough, you could also get very lucky and craft a gem which is 2 levels higher than the gem you intended to craft! The chance of being able to craft a gem that jumps a level decreases greatly as the gem level increases so that as you get to the very high level gems this phenomenon will be extremely rare indeed! Please note that you are not able to craft a gem level higher than the current allowed gem level.
