I started to learn C++ yesterday so I maybe can unterstand this code soon.

But I just have got one question: Does the Key changes every Patch? Is it included in the S4CLient.exe (cuz it has zu decrypt it)?

But I also didn't get, how to get the correct filename. Should I use the key to decrypt the filename, too?

No, it has never been changed. The main reason for this: everybody has to download the full game again, if they change it!

Yes, it is in there twice. Just search for it with a hex editor, you should be able to find it.

The resource.s4hd file contains the mapping of internal names and external names. It's encrypted. Check my Folder::DecryptFolder() function.

A little present for all leechers

Import and Export with GUI. Just a fast hack with C#. It might crash if you do something wrong.

- Rename S4Resource.zip to S4Resource.7z
- Extract to S4League Folder with 7zip
- Open program S4Resource.exe and select file you want to change.
- Click on Export File
- Save to some location that you remember
- Change the file
- In the treeview, select the file that you want to change, if it's not selected.
- Click on Import File
- Select the changed file
- ???
- Profit

If you do something wrong: Either reinstall the game or copy the backup files from S4Resource.backup.

There is also the Clean button that removes old files from the _resources folder.
