If the weapon isn't crafted (ID_PRODUCT) then the sockets WILL NOT work anyway.

Look in files which weapons have sockets, then just comy their adjustments

I'm pretty sure that every editor out there has names for columns so im gonna give you a little hint. Read the name of the column and try to look for a similar one see what's different.
