Rappelz Awakening - Tiamat 6.2 is now live

Hello ladies and gentleman,

we are going live now with our tiamat 6.2 project.
Edit: Will go live again on 23.01.2017, 06:00pm GMT+1

Our goal is to be close to 6.2 feeling, with some improvements.

Our server rates:
- Exp x1
- Drops x1
- Gold x1
- Taming x?
- Ursa rates X? (higher, since pserver)

The drop rates of tier2 pets is increased, so that anybody should be able to get a tier2 pet for the start. Tier3 and higher you still need to work for, or be at least very lucky in taming.

There is only nondura-gear available.

Available pets:
T1: Pantera, Poultry, Tortus
T2: Blue Pixie, Lydian, Octopus, Red Pixie, Siren, Skeleton, Wolf, Yeti
T3: Harpy, Hawkman, Nightmare, Salamander, Unicorn
T4: Angel, Gnoll, Ice Maiden (empty, can be tamed on VI), Kentauros, Naga
T5: Cerberus, Genie, Ifrit, Stone Golem
T6: Mystic Koala (Ursa (like on official) or 50k vote points), White Dragon

Altar boxes and "Creature Random Cards" can contain any empty pet card (T2, T3,T4,T5).

All pets got their movespeed increased by 80. Also players have a perm buff for 60 movespeed.

Lost Mines 1+2
Crystal Valley 1+2
The Shrine of Palmir Plateau 1+2
(Sanctuary will be implemented later, unsure if original or something cooler)
Temple of the Ancients

We are completly free to play. You can buy cash shop items in voteshop.

You get votepoints for voting and for tiamat points, which can also drop in game.

a server where people abuse bugs and the official GM doesn t care about

a server where the droprate was bugged and the offical GM can t fix it cuz he have no idea how to edit drop tables

a server where the official GM need to restart server much times while players in dp and can t wait till later time when less players are online to make his server backup.


all i can say THE SERVER ITSELF IS GREAT ! (RASKIM did a great job at all) like always

BUT maybe next time he should watch who he is working together cuz charlie is a big fail gm at this server.


(Waiting for raskims solo server in a far future ...that would be a dream thx 2 raskim for your knowledge and fast troubleshooting when the gm was 2 busy 2 do things right ! thumb up 4 raskim !)

Since you took the time to register and to write that post: We had a beta before and Asna is leveling very fast, even with x1 rates.

The rates are in my first post in this topic, and everybody is welcome to form their own impressions.

Someone that have a new account but you know raskim work very well!?
I dont think if i should take your opinion seriously or not, but maybe this isnt just for you.

You're have a right to a opinion of course, but that doesn't mean, that u took all considerations, or that your opinion with a 2 months old account have the same value then the others.

Raskim knows what his doing, but failed as well here and there, and there's a reason why he didn't open a server by himself even tho he as the knowledge.

Charlie looks inexperienced but he has the means to open a server and created interest in our community for a new server.

Is not about who is wrong or right or who's best or worst, is about, YOU/US realizing that both of them made it work, even with their own busy life they made a free server to anyone of us, who wants to play it.

So again, if you think that creating a new account and give credits to one part and failure to the other have good value think again, because if any of them stops, probl the server will stop, if Charlie wouldn't pay for it, you have no server and prob if Charlie didn't created interest about it no one would.

So thank you both for the server, no matter what each one does.

Well, if ppl are already close to r7 then its definetly not as hard as it was back then or there is something fishy going on. Sadly i was not able to play on the downgraded 6.2 version. I wish you still the best and enjoy the grind guys.

Like it or not, is your own fault, because the Beta thread was the top comment for a month in here, maybe if u would come here and read the topics u would know.

Everyone did nearly like from lv120 to 150 in 24hours.
The fact that everyone is on perm GP plays only a small part on a serv expX1.
100% of people are going faster r6-r7 than r5-r6.
The real reason is ToA "bugged" exp mobs.

Dont waste your time ....Raskim(admin) lvling faster then r3 ppl and he is 145+ using bugs.taming 1/1 ofc,drop rate bug first farming 3 h then fixing it..on TS teling ppl to make accs cuz of gifts from charlie lol ..so thats the admin of this server gl.nd ye 1 day and ppl r7

I'm so stupid to have felt bad of accusating Raskim of cheating on Tiamat 5.2.

Let me tell you that now i regret nothing saying he favored his friends too on Tiamat 5.2.
It was supposed to be retro-experience like here. When raskim implemented Silex, his friends were already on it and abused it because it had nearly instant respawn time. I was here too near top level players. They got like 128-136 in 5 hours, impossible on 5.2 with this server. And i'm so stupid to have not realized at this time Raskim should have either wipe either ban all of them.

On Awakening 6.2, i was again with top level players, 12x with exception of Asna 13x who played non-stop. Everyone did instant r7 (including Raskim) because bugged exp mobs in Betrayal Room.

I don't understand Raskim, i consider you personally as honest guy, you put a server without cash shop, so you did the hardest part, why you keep failing like this ?

Keep calm, tell us what's wrong instead of ******* the hours of grinding/farming of every legit player of the pserv.

We don't even know why you did this. I think your german friends are abusing of you, maybe.

Edit : I got kicked from his guild for saying i was flamming guildies for bug exp abusing, even if they know that everyone knows they deliberately abused of it.

Edit2 : From now i don't recommend you to spend time grinding/farming here before Charlie comes back and takes his decision. Maybe roll back, wipe, temporary close, i don't know...

How can people still trust raskim, i mean i get it he knows about rappelz and how to code, but seriously.. on tiamat he benefited his friends and lied about it, on zesua he gave spawned stuff for himself and exploited some other bugs, now on charlie's server he's an admin that plays as a normal player and spawns stuff for himself and his friends.. well.. same old..

I would totally agree one a wipe, but if you don't revoke raskim's admin powers it'll be pointless

Ok here is my little 2 cents. I will not hide anything or twist the truth I simply hate the spreading of rumors so here we go:

I was playing as Razimus on Awakening.I will start from Beginning to end.


The "Closed Beta"

Asna & Modroxi were literally raiding the beta 24/7 and got to 70+ within 2 to 3 days. We were a group of 8-10 people who really played this game since Epic 4 which was back in 2008-2009 so we knew what we were doing.

In that Beta people were complaining as soon as they came on the server, that it was unfair we got so high on the first day.
Since we had a full party of 8 and we set the party up so we would have the ideal setup to push ourselves to r3+ it was quite easy.
At that time Charlie was testing things with world buffs including Stamina Savers etc.
Here is the point were people started complaining!

Charlie dropped by a M1 because we were the only party so early to be in M1 so he dropped a Stamina Saver buff and level 10 Healer buffs on us there.
After that he went to Horizon and announced, that he would buff anyone who would come by for the next hour!

But still people though because we got so high he boosted only us. But infact everyone was standing in Horizon begging for Stuff or just Afking there with High Buffs etc etc.

Originally he said he would not wipe after the beta because of lowrates etc.
But since so many people complained about it he decided to wipe anyway.

In my opinion it was right to wipe the beta, because some people didnt get the chance to play there and also boosting everyone with anything isnt the point of an oldschool server.

Awakening on Tiamat Files Open Beta

Ok new start on new files with a new open beta with said that there will be absolutly no wipe!

Here we go:

Again we started as a party of 8! Eventually we grew bigger and found some people along the way who shared the interest of fast leveling through it.
The droprates were terrible the exp was okay it was really scuffed.
[You only dropped daggers and one certain piece of gear inside dungeons]

Since Charlie is depending on Raskim to fix the difficult stuff it stayed like that for quite a while.

Again we were the leading group ( Asna, Modroxi,peeeeeeee and so on).
Most of us had R1 gear and not even R2 gear when we hitted R3 so we had a really hard time inside of Lost Mines. But we kept going just for the sake of leveling.
While we rushed everything we never had the time to farm for equips or anything.
Eventually Raskim came by and fixed the drops for the gears.
By that time most of us reached R3 already while everyone else was struggeling at R2.
We had a huna a healer and a CM for the important buffs all the way along leveling which helped us throgh most of the stuff.

While we started to drop R3 gears in Lost Mines and on the field and sold those dropped gears to the ppl who didnt even hitted R3 yet, people begged in HV for Buffs and complained in All Chat 24/7!

At some night were I wasn't even playing Charlie added a Growth Potion buff for 1-2 Hours for everyone and that boosted everyone for quite some level there.
That should not be done in that early stage of the server. However it wasn't that big of a deal because it was only for 1-2 hours.

The next thing that happend was, that some people got lucky and tamed a T2 Pet like a Blue Pixie, a Skelly or an orc.
At another night people were begging and complainign and spamming Charlie to increase the droprate on the T2 Pets because they would be still running around with a tortus at level 95+.
Eventually Charlie increased the droprate on those pets and flooded the server with T2 pet's. If you level'd for 1 hour within Lost Mines you would drop around 50-70 empty T2 pet's. He also increased the droprate of gears for around 4 hours and people like Asna dropped a ton of gear pieces and made a fortune with that.
With that he totally killed the economy of the server.

At that point the server should've been wiped and started over again.
However that didn't happend and everyone kept going.

Asna and peeeeeee were leading the ladder with only a small difference between them at that point.
And you still could see people complaining about how fast Asna and everyone else in the top 15 were leveling.
There were already rumors spreading that Charlie or Raskim were giving out items or buffs in secret.

Here comes the Breaking Point

Raskim and Charlie decided, that they would put in the HV pass in the VoteShop for free.
The problem was, that you were able to sell that HV pass for 18.650.000 rupees at the NPC and this is were the show started.

Ofcouse people found that bug and abused it! ( Someone donated over 2bil rupees and one guy pieced his whole guild in DP and showed off)
I'm clearing up rumors now:

The guy who was abusing that was : Deaththire or similiar of the "P0rnstar" Guild and not someone from AngelDeMuerte like some guys spreaded the rumors!
Everyone who obviously absued the exploit got banned, but with that the problem wasn't solved:

Noone knew how much money was already spreading throughout the server or how many +5 cards or empty T3-T5 were around because of that exploit!

At that point it should've been wiped again to reset it again, since it was still the beta.
However it didn't happen.

Raskim starts playing

Raskim started playing aswell and as soon he started playing people were accusing him of absuing his powers from the beginning.
He was accused of boosting himself with admin powers and increasing his droprate and so on.
Noone can really say if he did it or not, but I can clear some stuff up.

Raskim was mostly soloing his way up to R5. But me and everyone else inside the guild could clearly see that he was doing each and every level within a reasonable amount of time. Even @ (finalfantasy10) who was in our guild at that time.

He had one advantage over everyone else who started at day one and that was full level 10 buffs by a Huna,Healer and a CM which was us.
He dropped a hawk which was tamed by someone else, so he didn't cheated that one aswell.

At somepoint he started duoing with me or with Kimimela and sat on TeamSpeak with us.
While doing that he donated every piece of gear he dropped into the altar and got 1 empty Naga out of it.
He went out to tame it and tamed 1/1.
At that point you could accuse him of changing the tame rates for a short time and people did exactly that.
So he went the extra mile and showed Charlie and everyone who wanted to see it the logs of the taming.
Charlie said himself, that it was a normal tame and just a lucky tame.

Now people accused Raskim again that he boosted his Naga from 1 to 100+ in no time and again I can say he didn't he went onto VI and used AC+SS for over 4-5 hours to get the Naga close to R5.
We saw him after his buffs ran out and saw the naga leveling like it would on a petclass on AC the whole time.

Bugged EXP inside of ToA and on Kia Lake on Day 1 were the Server goes Live!

He is were the shit went down!
Asna and (or) Modroxi discovered a bug were some mobs gave a around 3x the exp they normaly should. Together with the growth potion that everyone who participated in the beta got it was so much exp that you could get from 118-130 within 2 hour easily! Suddenly Asna and Modroxi were pushing the ladder to 140+ in no time.
Asna was already 135+ when the bug got discovered.
However they kept it for themselves they didn't even tell us "the german players" about it.
So not even Raskim knew about it until right after Asna hitted 150+.
After that a whole shitstorm went loose because we went out and tried it in ToA aswell.
I was getting 1-2% per 145+ Angel I killed in ToA at level 128.
I agree with it, that it's way to much. Raskim was in the party aswell and talked to Asna about it in Teamspeak when it was discovered and who knew about it.
As far as I know Charlie knew a little about it from the start.
That aside the AllChat was exploding with hate for Raskim and the group he was leveling with.
He was accused of everything he had was made by his admin powers and so was the leveling.
Everyone would get mad about beeing called a cheater and whatelse, but at that point not only Asna our party and myself used this bug, but also 2 other full parties who were in range tried to use the bug.
They tried it for 30 minutes but didnt really pulled it of because of the lack of dmg and good gears so they went ragemode in allchat and blamed us for using the exp bug.

At that point Raskim said he would not fix it and let charlie handle it because the server was messed up by the HV Rupee Bug and the T2 Pet droprate and also by this exp bug.
So we went through it and used this EXP Bug for 6 hours straight which got me from 118-145.

The FinalFantasy10 case

This guy came into our guild ( wich was orgininally only a group of Reallife friends ) and level'd with us. At somepoint he left our guild and joined "P0rnstars" because they sweettalked them. He didn't say anything he just left and that's it.

We were a little bit surprised at that time because after 2 hours he came back begging to rejoin our guild because he would not make any good Exp with the P0rnstar guild.
We let him rejoin and he was trying his best to be the super nice person and he was apologizing for 1 hour for leaving.
We even defended him in AllChat against the guys from p0rnstars who were calling him a GuildHopper.

Now after the bug was discovered he wasn't online and when he finnaly logged in he was left behind at level 120 when we were at 140+.
We explained what happended that there was a bug and we used it and everyone knew it.
At that point he started shittalking us in GuildChat and in AllChat. I asked him why he was shittalking us now, but he just kept going.
So we decided that we kicked him out of our guild which he didn't even realise because of the ALLChat spam he was producing
1 Hour Later he eventually realised that he got kicked.

Now he is shittalking Raskim and us on here because he is mad as he can be.

BTW it's not Raskims guild he is just a Member!

TL;DR
All this together the server reached a point were it makes no sense to me to keep it live without wiping it.

1) There is an unknown amount of rupees around because of the HV Exploit.

2)I was mentioning Asna and others alot it's not their fault for using a broken system so I do not mean to blame them!

3) Tier 2 Pet's are flooding the server

4)The EXP was okay until the bug was found but now it's completly messed up.

5)Nothing personal against Charlie, but he needs to stop giving buffs/items or anything to the player at anytime because that ruins everything.
