After starting the launcher it starts patching, stops after a few seconds and the launcher is closing itself.

I'm not using sandboxie, it's about starting the game because i can't, the launcher is just loading a bunch of random files and closing.

im just assuming, but doesn't that mean the launcher doesn't have permission to update? is it running as admin?

Unconfirmed by me:
Windows Vista shall work with sandboxie 3.46.
Windows 7 shall work with sandboxie 3.76.
Windows 8 shall work with sandboxie 4.20.
Windows 10 shall work with sandboxie 5.14 registered version.

My sandboxie working just fine,W7 sandboxie 3.76 (full version not the demo)
run as UAC Admin....

Maybe you should just wait a Bit.

Im the only one who edits the client and i dont spend all of my free spare time for this project. The old gui is one of my projects for the next weeks but im No magican.

Since I cannot get sandboxie to run in Win10 I installed vmware with Win7, but the game will not even start in there (non sandboxed).
The launcher does all of it's patches to version 1.8, I click start and nothing happens.

*edit: yes I run it as admin
