What do you mean you replaced the client resources with the official ones. Do you mean the resource folder, or do you mean the data files.

1. Official resource folder only contains music.

2. If you meant the resource folder then you were using a client that had edits that caused problems for you and you removed the edits.

3. If you meant the data files then yes using 9.5 data files in a client running 9.4 will probably cause some issues.

4. You may be able to fix a lot of the issues caused.

The entire folder yeah... took me a while to find out but yeah ... i encountered rather interesting problems. (Disappearing pets , becoming invisible etc)
So yeah im back to the old Resource folder trying to find another fix for the
error_summon_id 10543 Thing.

Suggestion:
Export your current SummonResource as rdb for your client.

Again you keep saying resource folder...and the resource folder only has music in a retail client so I wonder what you are actually changing unless you are using some other private servers client that has been customized possibly even a customized 9.5 client instead of the correct 9.4 clients available from the collection thread.

Anyway if you want to create a summon resource rdb for your client you are going to have to set up and use one of the client editing tools.

The best options available right now are SilentWisdom's grimoire and glandu2's tabbed rdb editor.

SilentWisdom's grimoire...



Glandu2's Tabbed RDB editor...



Set up the tool options, database connections and access.

Load the summon resource database description file dll or lua.

Load the summon resource database.

Then write an RDB with the loaded database.

You will then need to hash the file name of the rdb using the correct hash for your launch arguments in your .bat file.

If you launch ascii in the .bat file then the name will have to be hashed

db_creature(ascii).rdb

If you launch code page like windows-1252 then you will need to hash the name

db_creature.rdb

Place this file in your clients resource folder after it has been hashed.

Pretty sure I have the correct RDB file for summon resource there.

That with the Resource folder is pretty much my futile ignorant attempt to fix it on my own , dont pay attention to it. I didnt know it was all music ... forget about it.

Now Ive tried to export my summon resource as Ink and you suggested but im probably doing something wrong because the problem isnt fixed so far.
Would yours or anybody else's Summon Resource file work on my Client ?
If so could you upload one for me ?

Quick Edit - Funny thing , Only manually Tamed DT anf WD get this error, If i use Commands to get them (spawn them tamed in my inventory) their card appears normally.

Bypassed the problem by spawning tamed pets in my inventory.

btw are those soul pets or they are considered normal ?

hi they are considered normal cause for stage u need same creature =)

Thanks Nikk , its working... but for some reason i cant get a staged one
/run insert_staged_pet(8486, 5, 103062) is this correct for a stage 5 ? Because nothing happens when i write it.
I even made the ETC Script Function edit.

Did you restart the server after making the .lua changes?

Did you get any .lua errors starting the server?

As far as your command line I cant check the values right now because I am at work. Not able to access my SQL server.

Yep , restarted the server , no errors..
Well its not big deal ill just have to manually stage it... if there is a way to make the stage chance 100% im good.

Do you receive any message in-game or on the game server console when you run insert_staged_pet command?
