Running sbot from a VM
Hello, would like to know if its possible to run sbot from a VM with windows 2012 or 2008 R2. Would it be able to run clientless or is it still dependant on the 3d3 support even if its clientless?

That could be the case.. But what if i just copied a config with an already started client on a PC onto the VM? Would that work out?

Incase you can start the bot without starting the client it should work without problems.

It seems that the client will probably start since there is no API which the bot can work from ( even though its clientless)

X stands for the Direct X library
Windows Desktop Systems have These DLLs in stock (a server usually don't need these because usually nobody run games on servers)

Nope, it makes the mbot login without even opening the game... watch the vid and you might understand it better .

For use a SRO with D3D on your VM's Server, your server need a graphical card if your server dont have, you cant because VBox use your Hardware, VBox dont create any emulating GC

wait, are you using VM from ur linux os? is that it? if so I have an easy solution for that... that I used to do for bypassing HWID limit.. I can release a guide to do so when I get free time but I think it'll ruin the community and its easy to patch. ><

No im using xen virtualization and windows OS. But HWID i dont think thats the problem, its just to bypass the graphics since its not a dedicated graphiccard.

Running SBOT external...
08/13/2009 - Silkroad Online - 18 Replies
Hey there
my mother doesn't allow me to let my PC run 24 hours a day (well not even 5 hours...). I just got the idea to run my SBot external, on a windows server or so.. Now is this possible?
